Esther's pov

Esther I saw your browsing history last night…I know what you’ve been looking at” Mom says loudly for the whole church to hear, with a fake smile plastered to her face.

“Mom…I’m not a kid anymore” I whine wishing the ground could swallow me whole as heads turn to stare at us.

“Pon, Esther…on your laptop” My cheeks instantly heat up and the tips of my ears turn red and I hear a few people gasp, and I instantly want to sink into the pew. 

“Mom stop…Not here…The priest is speaking” I silently mumble and stare at Father Dominic. 

“I don't care who hears…” she hisses, leaning to...
