Avery's POV
We got to the restaurant—it was Reflex, one of the best spots around the school.
Jameson pulled out a chair for me to sit. "You look extraordinarily beautiful today, you know that, right?" he said.
"So you mean to say that I don't look beautiful every time?" I asked.
"Well, I don't always look at you," he lied.
I laughed and was about to speak, but he raised a finger, signaling that I shouldn't say anything.
"I know what you want to say! You want to say that I'm lying, right? Maybe you caught me a few times, but I only stare at beautiful people."
