DAPHNE’S POV

I heard the sound of rain hit the ground, it was not too hard but there was something, odd about it. I woke up suddenly and though my eyes were open I can’t remember how what lead me to this bed the previous night. The rays of the sun steeped in into the room, casting long shadows on the walls.
