My alarm clock only goes off a few hours before it's time for me to get ready for my shift.

Ben is sound asleep, so I get dressed, shower, and leave the home without waking him up. I'm glad he's no longer with us because if we ran into each other, I know he would be able to sense something wasn't right because of the silly smile that won't go away.

I'm feeling the happiest I've been in a long time, and more adrenaline and overall joy get me through the first few hours of my shift than any amount of espresso could.
