Megan POV

I am such a fool. Say something like, "If you fool me once, it's your fault; if you fool me twice, it's mine." I should feel ashamed, though, because a week has passed since my last run with Kael, and I still haven't heard from him. 

     Why do I still believe his clumsy excuses? Not even an apology is offered! His attempts at communication are limited to runs and eye contact, which are insufficient foundations for a relationship.

     The worst part is that I still feel like there's something off with Ben, and I put it all on Kael. I wouldn't have to hide secrets from the one...
