Jake walked to the door and cursed under his breath as he saw the figure on the security camera screen.
“Shit”, he cursed again
“What's wrong?”, I asked
“It's my father”, he said
“My father hasn’t been in my house in years,” he muttered, his voice tight.

“It’s fine,” I said quickly, already heading toward the stairs to grab my things.
