We drove in silence, when we got out of the Montero's Enterprise.
The silence was enough to choke a person.
Andrew’s hands gripped the wheel, his knuckles white, his jaw clenched so tight I could see the muscle twitching.
He hadn’t said a word since we’d left my workplace and at the same time, I was trying to calm down, to ask him why he did what he did.
I couldn’t stand it anymore.
“Andrew,” I said, my voice sharp, cutting through the silence.
“Why did you show up at my job like that? Unannounced. You had no right.”
He didn’t respond. Not even a glance in my direction....
