I took a deep breath, I hadn't realised I was holding, resting my back against the chair the moment she walked out.
The air felt heavy, thick with the tension that had been in the room.
I had gotten to work, exhausted as I barely got sleep.
I got to work and I met my coffee and the paperwork on my desk.
“A good way to avoid me”, I muttered as I drank the coffee, sitting down to continue my unfinished work.
