"See? I told you, what would your brother be doing here, anyway?" Emmie added, looking at her friend with a weak smile. She reached out her hand to rub Oddette’s back before her eyes landing towards the man standing in front of them.

"You just finished taking a shower?" Oddie asked and to her nodding response.

"Yes, I was busy reading an online book," she said. "The story was interesting to a point that I almost forgot to take a shower," she continued, giggling to herself. "I should probably check for the author’s update tomorrow again."
