"Baby, are you still there?" Oddie's voice brought me back to reality.

"Ye… y-yes," I answered.

"Can I go there?" he repeated.

"Ha… how?" I don't know what I'm saying anymore. I'm left confused and speechless. I bit my lower lip.

"No worries baby, just opened the back door next to the laundry room," He suggested. My eyes landed towards the stairs. Am I really doing this? "If there's a will there's away." I heard him add before giggling to himself. "I'm coming there in a minute; go down and open the door. Make sure to do it slowly so Miranda won't find out about anything," he reminded....
