Seher's POV:

At home, I was wondering how to tell Ashima when the doorbell rang. Butler opened the door and Aashi came.

"Welcome Ashi ma," I said with a smile, and she replied with a smile.

"You go and refresh. I'll arrange food." I said and she went to her room.

"Um ... it's delicious," Ashima said as she tasted the food.

"Try this your favorite rajma rice," I said as I handed her the bowl.

"Wow, you cook so well," she said and was impressed. It's the right time to tell her about it.

"Aashi Ma, I have something to tell you. "

"Tell me, what's the matter?" She said while eating.

"I got the job."

"Very well soon."

"Which company?"

Um ... this ... "Khurana Heights" I said and she choked . I patted her on the back and gave her water.

It's 12 o'clock at night and sleep is far from my eyes. I got up and went to the roof. I really like to see the stars which is so relaxing, I feel like my mother is watching me. Suddenly a calm wind blew down and closed my eyes.

I stayed there for a while and came back to my room, I lay down on my bed thinking about it, what is it now and soon darkness surrounded me.

In the Morning:

I woke up with the alarm going off, oh my gosh. It's already 7:45 now, I am so doomed I quickly get out of bed and run to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and do my morning work and go down the stairs.

"Where is Aashi Ma?" I asked Butler.

"Ma'am had already gone to the hospital early in the morning," She replied.

"Okay, I'm going too," I said.

"Seher ma'am, you are not having breakfast, it is ready," She asked.

Ah ... I'm in a hurry, I'll eat on my way. Don't worry and don't tell Ashi ma she'll be upset. I said and left.

I took a cab and it took 20 minutes to reach the office. I went to the receptionist and she smiled at me and asked, how can I help you?

"I am Mr. Khurana's new secretary." Where is his cabin? I asked.

" You are Miss Seher Sethi, right?" She asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"You're late Miss Sethi," She said and I was stunned.

"Take the elevator and go to floor 20." She said while smiling and I smiled and ran towards the elevator and pressed the button on the 20th floor. The elevator stopped on the 20th floor and I got out.

Truth be told, I'm really scared because he told me not to be late and I'm 30 minutes late here.

I knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

"Come in," I heard his voice and entered his cabin.

"You're 30 minutes late, Miss Sethi," he said in his cold voice.

"I'm sorry it won't happen next time," I said.

"And why should I believe you?" This time he yelled and I took a step back.

"Forget it, it's useless to expect anything from you." He said and my eyes widened, Is he asking me to just insult me?

"Go to your cabin." He pointed to the cabin, which was joined to his cabin by a transparent glass.

I didn't want to argue with him so I went and sat in my cabin. I am waiting for his orders but he did not ask me anything. Now at twelve o'clock I got up and went to his cabin. I knocked on the door and went inside.

He looked at me and then at his laptop.

"Why are you here?" He asked

"Sir, do you have any work for me," I asked.

"No, there's no work for you, you can go back," he said without looking up from the laptop.

"Then what do I do here?" I asked.

"So you want to work, don't you?" He asked.

"Yes," I said.

"Then go and make black coffee for me without any sugar," he said.

I made coffee as he asked without any sugar and made my way to his cabin. I knocked on the door and went inside.

"Here's your coffee" I said, placing a cup on his desk.

He looked at the coffee and took a sip but suddenly he got angry and he was about to splash coffee on my face. I got scared and covered my face with both my hands and a loud scream left my mouth.
