Chapter: 6 (A doctor's Camp)

Seher's POV:

I got scared and covered my face with both my hands and a loud scream left my mouth.

Wait, it didn't splash on my face, it sounded like something broke. I removed my hands from my face then I saw him throw the mug on the floor.

I looked at him and his gaze gave me a death glare.

"What the heck is that? Do you want to kill me? " He shouted too loudly as everyone heard him shout. I was startled.

"W_What's wrong with that coffee? " I asked shuttering.

"Oh, So you have the courage to talk back to me?" He said while an evil smile spread on his lips.

I thought not to argue so I apologized and turned to leave but this monster never let the matter go.

"Wait, did I tell you that you can leave?" He smirked. I stopped and turned towards him.

"Clean the floor before you leave," He said.

"What?" I asked as I didn't get his point.

"I don't like to repeat my words, clean the floor or I will make you clean it with your clothes" He said sternly.

He is doing this on purpose, it's not like I hate doing this kind of thing but it's about self-respect. If he said this to me politely then I would surely do it without any hesitation, but he is ordering me like I am his slave.

"If you are done staring at me then do what I told you " His statement dragged me to reality. I nodded and started cleaning the floor. I was picking the broken mug piece then he yelled from the back.

"Do it quickly I don't have the whole day to waste on you" I got startled by his stern voice and a broken piece dug in my finger and it started bleeding.

"Ouch" I hissed.

"Don't act like you are hurt, I know it's all your strategy to get out from this work" He said in his stern tone and a single drop of tears fall down on my cheeks how can he thinks of me like that I immediately wiped it off and collected all the broken pieces and got out from his cabin.

I dropped all the broken pieces in the dustbin and cleaned my hands. It's a minor cut on my finger but it's painful. I wrapped a bandage around my finger and walked to my cabin. I sat down.

It's almost lunch time now and I didn't have breakfast in the morning so I decided to go to the cafeteria and have something to eat.

I wanted to eat a burger so I ordered it at the same time a man also ordered a burger. But the shop owner said they only have one so I decided to order something else but the man said "it's okay you can have it" with a genuine smile plastered on his face.

I thanked him and smiled back. "Are you the new secretary of the boss?" He asked.

I looked at him , he was a handsome man with bronze hair , shining eyes and a well built body.

"Yes," I replied.

" As you are his secretary you really need good luck wishes because he is arrogant and cold" He said playfully which made me smile.

"By the way I am Rishabh '' he introduced himself.

"I am Seher," I replied. "Nice name" he complimented. "Thanks" I said.

We both sat on the same table and had our lunch. It's almost time to get back to work so we both walked together and he dropped me in front of my cabin.

"Thanks Rishabh, it's a nice meeting you" I said and smiled at him he smiled back and walked away.

I turned and opened the door of my cabin then I found him sitting on my chair.

I hesitantly went near the desk and politely asked him "Sir do you need anything".

He glared at me and said " Done seducing my employees " I got confused by his words.

He stood up and walked towards me. I stepped back and hit the door and he locked the door behind me.

He leaned down and smirked at me, I felt goosebumps in my skin when he strands my hair behind my ears. I didn't get what's going on for a while. I closed my eyes.

"You really like seducing people around you" He said coldly and I opened my eyes widened. His words hurt me like hell and tears fell down my cheeks. But I asked him without shuttering.

"What are you talking about? I didn't do anything wrong, why are you always being arrogant towards me? I yelled and whispered. As I yelled he clutched my jaw making me look at him.

" Don't you dare to raise your voice in front of me" He yelled back and got away.

I took my purse and ran out of his cabin. I came out of the office and heaved a sigh.

I can't stop my tears now it's rolling down continuously. How could he say that? Didn't he know me? He hates me so much. I was crying then I realized the presence of someone behind me, I thought it's Mayank so I didn't look back.

Then he passed me his handkerchief. " Stop crying, just wipe them off , it doesn't suit you" I heard a strange voice, so I turned back to look at who he was.

It's Rishabh, I thanked him and wiped my tears with his handkerchief.

" You are such a cry baby " He said, making a pout. I looked at him with wide eyes but smiled a little.

"I am not a cry baby okay" I said.

"You are," He said.

"I am not".

" Yes you are".

We both started arguments and laughed out loud as we fought like kids.

"Don't take his words seriously, he is a little arrogant from the outside but very kind-hearted from the inside" He said and I nodded. "Who knows him better than me?". My inner self said.

I came home and sat on the couch. I should not leave like this. What would he do if he got angry at my behavior? I shrugged my thoughts and leaned my head back. I asked the butler for water she gave me and I thanked her.

"Ashi ma isn't home yet" I asked her.

" No, she has some emergency in the hospital so she will come at dinner" She answered.

"Okay" I said and went to my room and freshened up. It's 5pm now and Ashi ma will come at dinner so I should sleep for a while. After taking a long nap I woke up and it's almost dinner time. I came down stairs and there I saw her.

" Seher, come let's have dinner together "She said as she saw me descending from the stairs. I sat on the dining table and she served me.

" How's your first day in the office?" She asked.

Um.. It's_nice I said.

" That's good "she said.

We had dinner and then Ashi ma got a call. She picked it up and answered the phone.

" I can't send another doctor to my place" She said and I looked at her then she cut the call.

"What happened?" I asked her.

"Actually a team of senior doctors from my hospital will go to villages and camp there and treat the poor people for free" She said.

"Wow, that's very good, you should go to Ashi ma," I told her. "But it will take two or three weeks and how can I leave you like that". She said, Then I put my hands on hers and told her.

"Ashi ma don't worry about me you should go" I said "but Seher " I cut her off "don't take my tension I will take care of myself and you should do what you like", I know you really like treating people and when they healed from their disease you became more happy.

" Can you really take care of yourself "she asked.

" Absolutely yes" I said with a smile and she smiled back.

"Ok then I should start packing. I have to leave tomorrow" She said and went to her room to pack.

"Let me help you Ashi ma" I said and she nodded.

After packing I came to my room and lay down on my bed. I was wondering why I got nervous whenever he was so close to me, urghhh. I should not let him get this close to me. But he said that it's so hurting. I shrugged my thoughts and went to sleep.
