I left the hospital because Clayton said it would be better for me to get some fresh air and clear my head. I didn't want to, but I listened to him. My mind was a complete mess, and thoughts of Elena and our broken love relationship tormented me.

Clayton promised me he would stay at the hospital with some members of my pack to protect Elena and make sure everything was in order. It was hard for me to leave because I felt that if I wasn't there to protect her, she would get hurt.
