Laura panics, she has been caught, what on earth would be her excuse? Why was she being a freak by staring at them?

She knew she would be questioned and the fact that no reasonable lie was coming into her head made her heart race.

Then again Laura found it weird, just like Nathan, Andre had never really taken a close look at her nor had he paid any attention to her. How could he have noticed her scent at once?

Slowly Laura walks out of the woods, she knew there was no point in hiding anymore she had been caught and all that was left to do was to find a convincing lie as to why she had gone to the forbidden lake.

"I knew there was a pesky rat around and it turned out to be you" Nathan was pissed and it was obvious from his manner of speech.

"Nathan! Words and manners " Andre cautions Nathan, "she must have reasons" Andre chirps as he watches Laura with an affectionate pair of eyes. He is worried for her.

Although Andre had felt some changes in himself a few years ago, he noticed his attraction towards Laura grew each day and yet he could not tell anyone about it.

Andre had managed to summon the courage to speak with Nathan earlier and explained it all to him but Andre knew he had ignited the fire of jealousy in Nathan.

All through their relationship both boys had never been bothered about being exposed as Nathan's parents were the alpha and Luna to the pack while Andre's parents were the beta to the pack, it all fell right in place.

No one ever suspected the two boys to be in any relationship of sorts however they both fell in love the only difference was Nathan being a straight gay and Andre being bisexual.

Andre having told Nathan about his sudden affection for Laura who was just a low birth with no wolf and remained a nobody would cause trouble and he knew it.

Although under different circumstances Laura would have been every wolf's dream.

Andre had seen Laura at school and knows how much she suffered yet he had seen how well she was ogled at by the boys,

Laura was not only beautiful but also smart and had the brightest smile ever, she had the right curves which were always hidden beneath her oversized, faded, and overly stitched dresses yet still no one approached her all because of one thing she never fitted Into anyone's caliber.

At home Laura was the pack's servant and worthless one, at school she remained the kid who dressed in rags and had a wretched life.

Andre wanted more for her and he felt his heart ache whenever he ran into her doing chores of any kind at school or home.

"I didn't mean to listen to you guys, I swear I was just …" Laura tries explaining.

"And you expect me to believe you? I don't trust you one bit and didn't you just say you didn't mean to listen to me?

if you didn't then you would have at least moved away instead you stood behind the trees and listened to our conversation" Nathan retorts.

"I am sorry, I should have left but I was scared"

"Let her be, you are scaring her with your glare" Andre chirps in real quick knowing how violent Nathan can get at times.

"I'm scaring her with my glare? With what glare? I didn't know it had come down to this, thanks for ruining my day" Nathan says before snorting as he walks right back to the woods.

"He's a big baby he'll be fine, are you back or still staying?" Andre asks, wanting to be sure she would not be left alone.

"I have things to do. I'll go back once I'm through '' Laura lies, her eyes avoiding hi's scared that he'll notice.

"I'll leave you to your things and whatever you heard here forget it all, it remains here I can trust you right?"

"Yes, you can"

"Alright then, bye"

Andre was quick to walk away from Laura as he could feel his heart thud against his chest harder each minute he spoke to her.

He is certain it's love that he feels for her.

At first, he had discarded the thought of liking her but then Andre had studied her and saw the true beauty in her.

He hid his feelings for 4 years and he had never expected her to learn of it in such a manner.

"Nathan wait up" Andre calls after his lover who ignores him.

"You didn't have to act out there, you know she would be scared right?"

"I acted up? Listen to yourself Andre she fucking stood behind the woods and listened to our conversation but I'm the one acting up? Fucking answer me!" Nathan yells letting his emotions get the best of him once again.

"Calm down Nathan, stop being a dick head and cool off your steam," Andre says, pissing off Nathan the most.

"Don't ever tell me to, as a matter of fact, I'm done with this, with her, with everyone"

Nathan was quick to retort and hastens his steps, he stops after a few movements and goes down on all fours.

His back bent upwards and his sides shook as his fingers elongates, slowly the strands of hair around his face grew taller as well as his body and soon he is completely covered in furs.

"Nathan" Andre calls out after his lover.

Nathan could hear his name but Instead gnashes his teeth and lets out a threatening Growl before leaping into the air.

Nathan runs faster and deeper into a secluded part of the woods letting his wolf take control as he cowers inside.

After a few minutes of having the wind in his face, Nathan shifts back into his human form.

Nathan had loved Andre since childhood and both seemed to share the same affection for each other.

Years ago Nathan had caught Andre having sex with a woman and brushed it aside as just his body needing something else and his hormones acting out.

Nathan had gotten pissed but then he reasoned with the explanation that Andre might be bisexual.

But that wasn't all Nathan had problems with his personal life, he had problems with his parents, pain, scars, and conflicts that no one knows about.

Everyone always saw Nathan Peterson as the rich hot teenager and some saw him as the smoking hot alpha's son but Nathan struggled to live.

One night his drunk father had once gotten into a fight with him and told him he wasn't their biological child, he has no bloodline, was adopted, and that he had slim chances of taking up the alpha position.

Now Nathan is 24 although he aged twice what his norms but being a wolf gave him good genes which made him look younger than he truly is.

"You should not be walking around naked," a young lady who passes by retorts, scaring the crap out of Nathan as he had neither seen nor heard her approach

"Why the fuck will you sneak up on someone like that? Are you crazy or something? and why are you walking around these woods" Nathan asks as his eyes dart around, cautious that it might be a trap.

He could sense something off about the lady, she wasn't human yet she wasn't a wolf, he ran deeper into the woods only because he was a wolf and a human wandering there would be hard to find,

Not only that but she had no scent, which ruled her out, the possibility that she might be a witch but then he could not just go around making wild guesses

"Too many questions child I'll answer just two questions now pick"

Nathan was right he knew something was odd about the young lady standing elegantly before him, she is pretty much around the same age as he is and yet she speaks with authority and courage.

"Take your eyes off, are you some sort of pervert?" he asks, knowing he's stark naked and he won't have some stranger staring down at his dick.

"I am not a pervert that's one question down" she answers causing a light scoff to escape Nathan's lips

"Are you kidding me?"

"I'm not, and that's the second question" she answers as she tucks her arms behind her back.

"That's bloody crap I had two chances and this is how you play dirty? you fucking did it on purpose" Nathan protests, finding everything out about the female figure before him to be odd.

"I didn't, I'm here to help you actually but I guess I'll be having lots of work to do judging by how naive you are that would be all for today"

The lady walks away from Nathan without sparing him a second glance or saying a word more, Nathan in turn had watched her walk away from him and decided that she was an Insane person.

He waits for the sound of her footsteps to recede before he shifts into his wolf form and runs back to the pack house; he doesn't want his father to get home before him.

Nathan had been trying all his life to live up to his father's expectations but all efforts proved abortive.

Nathan checks the time again and sighs knowing he got home just in time before His father would ask after him.

He takes slow strides into his father's office still worried yet he dares not show it, his Father had sent him a mind link earlier in the morning that they had to meet in the afternoon and he had better not be late.

"Good day," Nathan greets his father who in turn smiles at him and tells his guards to excuse them.

Nathan knows the worst is about to happen, before everyone's presence his father is the sweet and loving alpha who would do anything for the pack yet Nathan knows better he knew the second side of his father.

"Where have you been off to this time young man?" Alpha Jake asks with his nostrils flaring with anger.

Nathan could not tell his father he had gone freckling around in the forbidden lake and then took a quick run after, lying to his father is useless so he decided to stay silent.

"I am speaking to you bastard," his father says and the next thing comes a strike on Nathan's face.

Nathan bites down on his lip so hard that it draws blood he could not retaliate and neither could he complain.

"You've grown wings, haven't you? I'm talking to you but I guess I would not be needing you anymore. I've found my true son" Alpha Jake retorts with a spiteful look and mischievous grin.

"Andre, your friend is my son."
