Tamara's POV

Finally school was out and I could go home, today wasn't all bad like I thought it would be. I spent most of my time in the library like usual just that today no one came to bother me. Jas insisted on having lunch with me and her other friends, she introduced me to them last year and she told them I was her best friend and neighbor. Nobody knows we once used to fuck. Well I'd fuck her, I'm still a virgin.

She said they just share arts class together and well they're all cheerleaders. She recently joined cheerleading because Adam plays Basketball and probably wants her girl to cheer for him. Bethany and Brooke are annoying to be honest, their exactly like those bully cheerleaders who think everyone wants them and wants to be like them, those we watch in movies. I just didn't say anything the whole time I was there. Yup I zoned out like y'all know me.

I was walking to the subway station with my earphones on, playing Good thing by Kehlani, I love music since I dance and even besides that I still had a thing with music. I only dance when I'm happy though now.

I thought about Jas as I was walking, Gosh she really is on my mind a lot today. Not that I want her back or still feel anything for her anymore just that I wonder why she still gives me random kisses, looks at me like she wants some or even why she still says dirty stuff. Just 30 minutes ago I was in the school toilet just before we left school and she came from behind when I was in the sink washing my hands, she went for my ear and did a soft moan. I just chuckled and left her there, I guess that Adam of hers isn't hitting it right.

I looked around and I found myself in the park, what the hell am I doing here? I must have missed my turn while still thinking about Jas. I decided it wouldn't hurt just sitting and think a little and look at the people around. I saw a couple laying down laughing and sharing random kisses, they looked happy but I don't know I just had a strange feeling about them.

I took my phone out and saw a text and 2 missed calls from mom. Shit! It was still on silent. I checked the text and it was from mom too.

Mommy❤️: Sweety are you okay? you're not answering. I decided to text her back.

Me: I'm okay mommy, I'm sorry my phone was on silent I kinda forgot to put it back on.

I sent it and she called right away. "Mom"

"hi baby how was school?" I told you she's such a mom

"it wasn't bad as I thought mom, how was work?" She chuckled

"I bet you can't wait to graduate can you?" She knows me too well

"yup and I'm counting down the days" she giggled

"You're something else. Work was amazing though, I'll tell you guys when I get home" I wonder what happened "Oh and I'm taking you guys out tonight. Are you home yet? where is your brother?"

"No I'm at the park but I was about to leave"

"okay baby I'll see you guys later I have to go. Love you" she did a kiss over the phone

"love you too mom" I hung up. I better get going, wait where is that weird couple I just saw? Maybe they left. I chose a song to play and then I heard a deep, well not super deep but it had some kind of nice melody to it, say hello.

"Hi there" I immediately recognised the accent as English. I looked up and saw a tall cute boy smiling at me with black hair that fell on his perfect face. He looked like he was a model or something, wait isn't he that same guy who was kissing that girl, oh yes the strange couple I just saw. Why was he so cute up close? "Are you okay?" He asked, shit Tamara stop being awkward and say something.

"Uhm hi" I finally managed to say something. He sat next me. Oh no is he sitting? It got quiet for a minute.

"You don't talk much do you?" I chuckled so he thaught I was one of the shy ones.

"I do actually, just not to strangers you know" he looked at me in confusion.

"stranger? Who? me?" Now I was the confused one "I'm Darin. Darin Kalanick" still don't know you weirdo, I shrugged. "Okay guess you really don't know  me" he held out his hand for me to shake and I did that

"Tamara Watson" he smiled and showed his perfect white teeth. This boy is really cute. Even his smile is beautiful. I looked away realising I'm staring too long, and he must've caught that since he laughed at me. "Nice to meet you Darin but I was about to leave so" he held my arm as I was about to stand up. He has soft hands too

"Wait!" I looked at him. "Am I making you uncomfortable?" I laughed while shaking my head

"Don't flatter yourself Weirdo I really was about to leave" he crooked his eyebrows

"Weirdo?"

"Bye Darin" I turned to leave

"Tamara wait" I turned around

"I can drop you off where do you live?" Is he crazy or something? Who wants to deal with his girlfriend's jealousy? I'm pretty sure she's jealous

"Don't you have a girlfriend to attend to? Speaking of her where is she? Aren't you supposed to be with her?" He chuckled and pointed another direction, I followed his finger and it showe me the skinny girlfriend. Well she wasn't skinny just really thin. She had Kendall Jenner's body. Maybe she was also a model. She was really gorgeous though with her short brown wavy hair.

She was on the phone then she cut the call and started looking around till she saw Darin and started coming our way. Her eyes were blue. She's cute I will admit, no wonder this Darin guy chose her.

"She won't mind, I'll tell her you're my friend" I gave him a confused look, like what is wrong with this guy? We just met.

"What is........"

"Baby" she called him. We both looked her way, she walked a bit till she stood next to him. "There you are" she smiled at him, she must be really in love with weirdo. Wait did I just give him a nick name? I'm really weird maybe I should be the one called Weirdo.

"Candice this is Tamara my friend, Tamara this is Candice my girlfriend" she gave me a wide smile and I just nodded. Wait so she's cool with that? Why isn't she jealous or something? Isn't that what people in love do? Maybe I'm just being weird, I've never been in a real relationship besides Jas so I don't know.

"I thought we could give her a ride home" he told her, he was really serious wasn't he?.

"Oh it's okay babe but I don't know if you could drop me off by the hotel real quick my dad said he needs me there right now." Thank God for that Candice you're amazing now I can finally run away from Weirdo seeing he has to drop her off, I bet it's even far he'll have to let me go by myself.

"It's okay after that I'll drive Tamara home, since the hotel is like five minutes from here." Wait what? Did he just ruined my escape plan right now? Why is he insisting on dropping me off?

"My car is this way Tamara come on." I sighed and followed them to the car. Guess Darin was dropping me off then. I walked behind them and they were holding hands laughing in each other's faces.

They stopped in front of a gorgeous machine. Wow how rich is this guy? He owns a G Wagon? Okay that's the first impression I've gotten from him so far, okay first before first was that he's cute lol, but that's besides the point and this gorgeous baby in front of me right now. Okay maybe he's a good guy let's see where this is going. If you know me then you know I'm into Mercedes cars so anybody that owns one is a good person to me.

It was black. Just the perfect color. I got in the back obviously, then immediately put my earphones on not wanting to hear their lovey dovey conversations. To my surprise they didn't even talk that much, Candice was on her phone most of the time, giggling and looking so in love with whoever she's texting. That's weird, aren't couples supposed to be like that only with each other?. This couple definitely had something going on, and I will make sure I find out.
