I didn't know how to respond to that so I just forced a smile while trying to hide how nervous I felt. I didn't know how Rogues worked, but if it was anything like an Alpha to a Pack, trying to hide how I felt would be a wasted effort.

He would be able to sniff out my anxiety from the other side of the room.

I didn't do anything and just watched him eat. I was so hungry and the sweet aroma of the dishes didn't do anything to help my mouth and hurting belly.
