6 YEARS AGO.

I watched in silence as all the elders, including my parents, discussed Larissa's disappearance.

I stopped listening about ten minutes ago. Several thoughts and several emotions were on my mind at the same time

Like why did she leave? Where did she go? How would she survive on her own out there?

I was also angry at myself. Why didn't I anticipate this and try to stop it? I betrayed her when I claimed Alvina as my mate so there was no reason for her to stay here anymore.

I was so caught up in all of the celebrations that I didn't even try...
