“I have to go up to check on things,” I said to Jack in the dungeon.

“Absolutely not, it’s dangerous up there,”

Jack held my hands from walking away.

“But Logan’s father is up there all alone. What if something goes wrong?” I asked, a little fidgety.

“How do you still care about these monsters? They’ve been nothing but diabolical to you!”

“Because they are my family! That's it, whether you like it or not!” I yelled anger clouding my vision.
