Leon took a deep breath after their kiss ended, and without giving Giselle another chance to escape, he held her wrist and guided her toward the black car parked by the roadside.
“Leon… I have to go home,” Giselle whispered.
“We’ll talk in a quiet place,” Leon replied shortly without looking back.
Giselle tried to pull away, but not too strongly. “I don’t want to get into your car.”
“Giselle.” Leon looked at her sharply. “Please.”
