My eyes snapped open, and I breathed heavily.

Control Shravani, it was just a nightmare and nothing; you are safe.

I tried to move my neck only to hiss as the pain shot through my whole body; I realised I was sleeping in a sitting position and Jaiveer was still sleeping with his head on my lap.

The wild beating of my heart fell into a soft rhythm as I gazed at him; I forgot the pain I felt earlier and busied myself gazing at him. He looked so angelic sleeping without a frown, his form was relaxed as if he knows he is in the safe place....
