Emerald has been busy with work lately and she barely has time for me. I couldn’t help but worry because I’m starting to feel she’s still upset about the whole thing that happened at the restaurant back there.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, a stern look on my face. After raking my fingers through my hair and ensuring it was smooth, I wore my suit over my sparkling white shirt.
