“What are you, Lorenzo?” I asked, my heart racing as I stared at those mysterious eyes of his. His lips pulled in a smirk, dimples on either side of his cheeks.

“You'll get to know me soon, Emily..” He spoke calmly, his words weighing heavily on my shoulders. What made me even more shocked was that he didn't address me as Emerald but rather, as Emily.

How on earth did he know that I was Emily?
