Emily’s POV ~>

I kept a forced smile on my face as I made my way into the dimly lit bar, which was filled with a lot of people. Murmurs and laughter echoed in the background, coupled with the soft music emanating from speakers. I saw a couple at a far end, chatting and whispering as they swilled several shots of their drinks.

I tried to blend in as I ordered a drink.
