Emily's POV

I rushed home to meet Carl after a hectic journey. As I slipped my feet off my shoes, I made a half run to his room that Saturday afternoon. Carl has been ill lately. First, he had a fever and after some weeks, he's having diarrhea and digestive issues. I took him to the pediatricians who prescribed some medicines for him. At first, he recovered but his illness kept coming over and over again. And this time around, it wasn't cough, or diarrhea or digestive issues, he had skin rashes and shortness of breath.

He was given some medicines but after a while, his illness kept coming back....
