I rushed down stairs to go meet them halfway.
“Deal is done.” Sadie replied, already shrugging out of her red jacket.
“Sadie was a menace.” There was this delightful lilt in Cass’s voice.
Already curious, I called a maid walking by to bring us cold drinks, and began to pull them upstairs as Cass was trying to kick off her shoes.
