I opened my eyes and I winced as I felt a throbbing pain in my head. I slowly raised myself into a sitting position as I took in my surroundings and it was then I noticed I was in some kind of cell. The place didn't look familiar at all and I wondered where I was trying to wrap my head around everything when it suddenly hit me.

The wolf pup, me getting lost, the two strange guys who suddenly turned into wolves! Oh my God! They were werewolves! I remembered that because I remember them transforming in front of me and them attacking me and I remember hitting my head against a tree, no wonder it hurts so much, I muse as I robbed my head which suddenly stings and I'm guessing there was a nasty bruise forming on it since it hurts so much.

I looked around to figure out where I was but all I could see was stone brick walls that looks old and the iron bars. I looked up to notice a small window where sunlight was seeping in from.

Wait, sunlight? Christ, how long was I out for? I muse as I raised myself to stand up but I fell back down with a loud groan.

I winced in pain as I took off my boots and I winced when I saw my ankle was starting to swell up. I remember spraining my ankle from running away and because I didn't pay much attention to it, it was swollen and it looks really bad.

Liam! I need to call Liam! I muse as I searched for my phone but I couldn't find it anywhere on me. I reached inside my pockets but I couldn't find it. Perhaps I dropped it around here, I muse as I continued searching and I was still searching for it when I heard something like a door open and I stopped searching and managed to pull myself up to see who the intruder are when they finally came into view and I let out a gasp at that.

I recognized them as the two guys who chased me last night, no not guys werewolves! I corrected myself as I staggered backwards against the wall as I stared at them with fear and another thing I noticed was that they were twins!.

"I see the princess is awake" One of them growled coming towards me as he grabbed the bar and I inched closer to the wall.

"Wh...who are you guys?" I stuttered looking up at them with wide fearful eyes.

"And here I was thinking you were smart but I'm guessing you are not" The guy grabbing the bars said with a mischievous glint in his eyes, "How about I refresh your memory?" He asked me and then I watched in horror as he closed his eyes and opened them and they were glowing an amber colour and he had canines for teeth.

I screamed as I collapsed to the ground in fear and I looked up to see he was growling at me and I whimpered in fear as I used my hair to frame my face and protect me from the horrific sight because I was scared.

"Alright Kai, that's enough scare" I heard the other twin said, "She's already petrified of us so need to give her a freaking heart attack before the alpha sees her" He said and I looked up to see the other brother pulling away his twin away from my cell.

"But I want to have more fun with her" Kai whimpered then snarled at me when he caught me looking and I whimpered in fear.

"Yeah you've had your fun, now let her be" The other twin said shooting me a look that was almost similar to pity as he dragged his scary twin away.

"Fine, whatever" Kai said shrugging his brother's hand off him, "Later human" Kai promised with a glint in his eyes and I felt a shiver race down my spine.

I was petrified of them but thankfully they left with the other twin giving me one last look. I breathed out a sigh of relief when I heard the door close and I decided I liked the prison cell more than being out there with them. At least, here Kai can't hurt me and I don't have to face any werewolves, which has got me thinking.

How many werewolves are there? So far I just met two of them twins and the only thing I know is Kai had a nasty personality but the other one he seemed nicer, but that seemed too quick for me to decide because who knows maybe he wants me to let my guard down and then kill me afterwards but I doubt that since he pulled his brother away and said something about the alpha not liking him scaring me.

The alpha? Wait the alpha is alive? That can't be possible, last I heard he was locked in a cave by a powerful witch and it's been two hundred years and he should have been dead by now but I'm guessing he isn't, because they mentioned having an alpha.

Oh my God! I gasped as it suddenly hit me, that means if the alpha is alive, I get to meet him and I know I should be scared which I was but I couldn't help the little thrill that went through my body at the thought of meeting the alpha, finally I get to find out if the legend is true!.

It was already noon that I could tell from the way the sun shone brightly through the evening. My head was killing me, so was my leg and I raised myself only to see that it was getting worse by the minute and I wished I had some ice I can put on it and also some food and water, I was famished. Back home mom would have cooked up something for me and I'd have a whole feast with her and dad would tease me how for a girl I eat too much but now I can't be with them and I don't know if I ever will because I was stuck in a werewolves den with no way out.

I was still thinking about my cursed fate when suddenly I heard the clank of the door open and I crawled and took my position at the wall, waiting for whoever it was that came in and when he came I saw a pair of dark boots and I raised my head up to look at the person only to see that it was the other twin and my shoulders sag with relief at that and I noticed that he was carrying a tray I'm guessing contains food.

"Hey" He said with a small smile and I just stared up at him, "I uh, brought you some food" He said motioning to the tray in his hand.

"I'm not hungry" I stated and looked away dismissing him but it was at that moment my stomach chose to growl in protest, traitor!

"Yeah sure but I'm giving it to you anyways" He said and he opened a small latch on the door and pushed the tray inside and I noticed that it contained a plate of sandwich and a bottle of water.

I picked up the sandwich and sniffed it and I looked up when I heard a chuckle coming from the guy, "Don't worry it's not poisoned, not like you will be able to sniff it if it was though" He said and I knew he was right about that and also the sandwich smelled really good and I was famished.

I bit into it and as soon as the taste hit my tongue, it was chicken sandwich, my favourite and at that moment I didn't care if it was poisoned or not, I decided to finish the whole plate and then I drank the water, emptying all the content in the bottle and when I was done I let out a little burp and I immediately covered my mouth at that while the twin smirked at that.

"Sorry and thank you" I immediately apologized and he just shook his head at me and I noticed he had a small porcelain mortar in his hand and he was pounding something inside it.

"No need to apologize, I'm glad you enjoyed it" He said raising his head up to give me a small smile before he went back to his business.

"I'm Fiona by the way, what's your name?" I asked him and he looked up at me before smirking this time.

"I'm Kieran and you've met my douche head for a twin Kai" Kieran said and I smiled at him, "It's my fault he turned out that way though, I should have strangled him with my biblical cord when I had the choice" Kieran said a thoughtful look on his face and I didn't know when I started laughing but Kieran noticed and he smiled at that seeming pleased with himself.

"So you are werewolves?" I decided to ask even though I've seen it but I just wanted to be sure and Kieran just let out a sigh at that.

"You still can't believe it though and I don't blame you but yes we are werewolves" Kieran said and I nodded my head at that.

"And how many are you guys?" I asked him again.

"Packs of 'em, but you are in our pack the Crescent moon pack" Kieran explained and I nodded my head at that.

"The crescent moon pack" I muttered under my breath, "But why am I here? I mean isn't it against the rules to have a human here?" I asked him remembering the stories we've been told countless of times and how the werewolves were forbidden to have any connection with the human.

"It is but you stepped on our territory first, don't you remember?" Kieran asked looking at me and I frowned at that in confusion.

"What? But I didn't, I just followed the puppy...." I trailed off as it suddenly hit me, the wolf pup! I had followed the wolf pup into the woods and that's how I landed on the werewolves territory, that's how I got lost and that's why Liam couldn't find me because I was no longer in the human world!

"Besides you better be glad we found you first because as much as you won't like to believe it, there are a lot of worse things than us out there" Kieran said interrupting my thoughts and I looked up at him.

"Why? But why me?" I asked looking up at him and Kieran was about to say something when we got interrupted.

"And who says you have any right to question us?" I heard Kai say as he appeared in my view and Kieran just shot me a sad smile.

"What the hell are you doing? You are supposed to be watching her not having a chit chat with her" Kai accused his brother who just shrugged it off.

"I am watching her but I'm also preparing medicine for her, she's hurt" Kieran answered as he pushed the mortar towards me and I stared down at it only to see some green stuff that looked like a leaves mashed together.

"Go ahead, it works magic" Kieran assured me with a smile and I grabbed it and started applying it on my swollen ankle.

"Thanks" I mumbled and Kieran smiled at me while Kai rolled his eyes at me.

"I don't know why you bother" Kai drawled out and Kieran let out a resigned sigh as he stared at his brother.

"Because it was our fault she got hurt and the alpha wouldn't like that" Kieran retorted while Kai scoffed.

"I see the blondie already trying to worm her way in you but if I were you I suggest you stay clear off her" Kai said to his brother then turned to look at me, "Because she isn't going to be here for long, the alpha will dispose of her as soon as he questions her" Kai said with a smirk and my eyes widened in fear at that.

Dispose of me? As in kill me? I muse as I stared at the twins in horror.
