I had taken the best bath I've had in my entire existence. The bathroom was simply breath taking and I had a bath fit for a princess.

Inside the bathroom was a golden bathtub where I decided to have a bubble bath and just for that minute, I didn't feel like I was taken against my will and kidnapped by werewolves, instead I felt like a princess.

I had my bath then got dressed in the outfit I had picked for myself, a silk shirt, a pair of fitted jeans and white sneakers.

When I was done, I ran a brush through my massive blonde hair and had it tied into a messy bun. After all that I then went to the window, it was night time already, the perfect time to escape and there was no time to waste anymore.

I quickly locked the door with the key, then I grabbed the chair and placed it under the door knob. Not satisfied with my plan, I decided to carry the dressing table to place against the door and then I looked at everything, I was a little bit satisfied with what I had done but I know it wouldn't hold them for long, so I needed to be quick.

I was going to escape through the window and of course I had already thought about it. The height difference and everything which was why I was going to Rapunzel my way out by grabbing bed sheets and tying them together.

I had looked for all the bed sheets in the whole room and ripped them with a scissors I found in the drawer and tied them into tight knot thanks to me being a girl's scout once.

When I was done, I tied the bed sheets next to the bed post then I opened the windows and I tied the other end of the bed sheet down the window which was a long way down but thankfully the bed sheet was long enough.

As I stood staring at the ground and the night breeze whipped through my hair, I stared at the ground not believing I was going to go through with this.

I was going to escape from a house full of werewolves! Me a mere human against a pack of wolves! I mean there were lot of grey areas in my plan.

The first one is I could fall to my death, the second one is I could get caught and the alpha would have to kill me but I also knew that if I stayed, I was also going to meet my death besides I have to try and escape, I needed to get out of here and tell Liam about everything and the government too, they were not going to believe this and they would freak when I finally lead them here and see that the legend is real, but most importantly I've got to let my family know that I'm okay, I muse and that alone motivated me and made me determined to continue with my escape plan.

With a silent prayer in my mind, I climbed up the window then I turned around and started to lower myself down using the knotted bed sheet. My heart was in my throat the whole time I lowered myself down to the ground which seemed far away but I quickly figured it was best not to look at the ground as long as I'm still lowering myself to the ground.

Soon I got a hang of it and wasn't afraid anymore, I carefully continued to lower myself to the ground which wasn't so far anymore and I was still lowering myself to the ground when I felt the rope suddenly hang and I felt myself being pulled back up.

Wondering what was wrong I looked up in fear only to see Ruelle, Kieran and Kai, they were the ones pulling me back up, I let out a gasp when I saw that.

"You are so dead!" Kai snarled at me exposing his canines and glowing his eyes at me.

Without thinking I released the rope causing me to fall to the ground on my back and I winced as I quickly stood up then started running into the woods but not before I heard a loud howl and I knew what that sound meant, they were calling for reinforcement which means I didn't have much time anymore and I needed to get out of here.

I ran towards the woods as fast as I could, thankful the pain in my ankle, I pushed myself to run harder without looking back.

Soon I was in the woods running as fast as I could just to get away from the territory. I could hear my erratic breathing and the pounding of my chest as I ran but thankfully no one was behind me and I wondered why.

I mean they would have caught up with me if they were chasing after me but they weren't, instead everywhere was quiet and the only sound I was hearing was my own breathing and the sound of my frantic footsteps as I ran and I immediately knew something was wrong but I couldn't figure it out.

I was still trying to figure out what the issue might be when I heard it, a roar! I heard a roar instead of a howl. The roar was so heavy the whole forest shooked with it and birds flew across the sky because of the sound.

I suddenly became afraid and pushed myself to run harder, because I ran every morning and I made sure I stayed fit it was no problem for me but the thing about being a human is, no matter how good you are at something your body has a limit, which is why I felt myself slowing down and I was getting really tired.

I was still trying to get myself to run faster when I heard another roar and this time it sounded closer.

I looked back trying to see what was coming after me but I only saw a flash of black wolf and I knew it was the alpha.

Not looking at where I was going I tripped and fell down, rolling on my side till I hit a rock.

I groaned loudly in pain from the impact, my ribs must have been broken. With shaky breaths I raised myself from the ground and winced in pain when I grabbed my side. I was still holding myself up when suddenly a big wolf jumped out of the woods growling at me, then the strangest thing happened, the wolf began to raise itself on its hind legs which made it seem bigger and I immediately knew it was the alpha.

I was no expert in lycantropy but I knew this was no ordinary wolf, it was bigger and even from here I could feel the powerful presence radiating off him and when I looked up into his eyes I could see they were a bright gold colour, even if they belonged to a big hairy large wolf, I can't deny how beautiful they were.

The wolf then let out a loud howl, startling me. Without another thought I rolled to my side and grabbed a big large stick that was behind me and pointed it at the wolf.

"Stay away from me!" I ordered in a firm voice waving the stick around.

The alpha cocked it's head at me as if amused by what I was doing but I maintained my ground and glared at him, "I mean it stay away from me, I...I...don't want to hurt you" I stuttered and if it was another scenario, I would have laughed at myself. I mean here I was, a five feet girl telling a big wolf, I don't want to hurt him, how ironic.

The wolf seemed to know that because it snarled and from where I was it looked like a smile but I can't be sure.

The wolf suddenly took a step towards me and I instinctively took a step back suddenly feeling afraid.

"Stop or else..." I trailed off and I hated the way my voice quivered but I still continued glowering at the alpha who was still looking amuse and continued walking towards me.

"I said stop....argh!" I screamed as I tripped and rolled down a hill and this time I hit my head heavily on a tree.

The pain in my head hurt and I suddenly felt myself begin to feel weak. I opened my eyes only to see the wolf coming towards me and then I watched as it slowly transformed into Zane, my gaze blurry as I looked at him.

"W..W..why are you doing this?" I croaked out at him but instead of answering Zane just reached out towards me and stretched his hand brushing my hair away from my face.

Then Zane lifted me in his arms like I weighed nothing and his grey eyes staring at me was the last thing I saw before I fainted.

I opened my eyes and the first thing I noticed was I was laying on the bed and then the next thing that came was the pain, the mother- fucking pain! My head hurts and I think I might have suffered a mild concussion, not only that too my ribs were fucked and my ankle was killing me, I guess it wasn't completely healed like I thought it was.

I groaned as I sat up and I noticed I was back in my room, and I wasn't alone because when I turned I could see Zane, the twins and Ruelle standing close to my window where my make shift rope that included shredded bed sheets was still hanging from.

I also noticed all of them were giving me looks, Zane and Kai were mostly glaring at me while Ruelle and Kieran were giving me a disappointing look and at that moment I wished I was still asleep because I knew the storm that was about to be unleashed.

I cleared my throat awkwardly as I looked around, "So I'm guessing I'm in trouble?" I asked looking down at my fingers and I heard Kai scoff at me.

"Oh you have no idea" Kai growled out and I nodded my head accepting my fate.

"Leave us" I looked up to see Zane staring at me and I turned to see Ruelle and the rest were leaving and I wanted to call them back but I refrained not like they could do anything to help anyways. They all left the room leaving me alone with Zane who was staring at me with those grey eyes of his.

"If you are going to do something to me can you at least let me call my family?" I asked blinking up at him hoping he grants my request.

"And tell them what? That you are going to be killed by a werewolf?" Zane asked cocking his brow up at me and I looked down at my fingers on my laps realizing how stupid it was.

"I'm sorry" I muttered not bothering to look up at him, "Are you going to kill me though?" I asked finally looking up at him.

"Why? Why did you run?" Zane asked still looking at me with a glare.

"Because I was scared!" I blurted out, "I want to go home, I don't want to be here because the more I stay here the more I live in constant fear of my life, I keep wondering if you are going to kill me and I'm terrified anytime I think of it!" I rushed out with tears in my face.

"Well then how about I ease your mind?" Zane said walking towards me with a mischievous glint in his eyes and I pushed myself farther into the bed, "I'm not going to kill you" Zane said leaning down to me, he was so close I could breathe in his scent and he smelled of the forest, nature.

"What are you going to do to me then?" I dared to ask looking up at him and he smirked down at me.

"I am going to keep you here with me, forever" Zane said and I let out a soft gasp at that but Zane wasn't done, "So I suggest you get used to it and brandish any thought you have of escaping and seeing your mother because if you try to escape one more time, I will kill you then go to your human world and kill everyone you hold dear!" Zane finished with a hard look on his face then he abruptly turned and left the room, slamming the door and then I heard a click and I knew I was locked in.

Immediately after that I broke down into tears as I sobbed into my arms, I was trapped here, there was no escaping and no one was going to save me! I was trapped! I muse as I continued sobbing till I finally cried myself to sleep.
