"WHERE did you go, Chuck?"

“Hey! Chuck is smiling like a fool. ”

“Wow! It looks like the saint of the Tennis Knights is in love. ”

Chuck ignored his three buddies who spoke Les, Cloud and Reus respectively as he entered here in the Locker Room inside the University Gym. Fortunately, when he entered the Gym earlier, Ian's ex-boyfriend was gone — the woman he had bumped into earlier because that's probably what she had done to that man.

What can we do with him, Chuck? You couldn't even hurt a fly. he said in his mind.

He just put that thought aside and turned to his friends who are now gathered here in their Locker Room.

Tennis Knights . That’s what students here at Saint Vincent University call them. At first it was just Tennis Stars but they were surprised when they became Tennis Knights . They are Tennis Players and they are really good. That is why they are called the Star Players of the Tennis Club. But because their skills are at a different level, the word star is no longer appropriate for the nine of them.

He even remembers the faces of Les and Cloud when he heard that shout from them. They look like ancient warriors. That he just laughed.

Her friends are now complete here in the Locker Room. Their team, known as the Tennis Knights , consisted of nine people — including him. The nine he refers to are him, Les, Cloud, Reus, Guji, Rein, Kei, Chase and Enzo. All nine of them have been barricading since they were in their first year here at Saint Vincent University, except for Rein. Rein was two years younger than them. They are equally of course, of course. Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineer, that’s their course. Even Rein who is two years younger than them is also the same course being taken now.

The eight will graduate this year, hopefully. But he was complacent that they could graduate at the same time. Even though they are members of the Tennis Club, they do not neglect their studies.

They came from nine wealthy families. They all have something to say to society. But despite that, they remained humble and kind. Take it from him. His father, Henry Del Mundo was the CEO-President of del Mundo Chain of Resorts here in the Philippines. Her Daddy also has businesses in America and Europe. His mom Ingrid Del Mundo is the owner of Jackson Inc., which is one of the largest textile factories in the country. Today his older brother Carvy manages Jackson Inc. She has only one sister, her older sister Carvy.

Despite the wealth they enjoyed, they did not become conceited or arrogant because their parents taught them how to be humble. That's why he became sort of like this. It's because of her parents, her mother.

“Coach Enzo is gone. It looks like Chuck has been hit by Love Disease just like Les and Cloud. ” that voice of Reus's stirred his thought.

He turned to Reus and he could clearly see the grin on his face. He just smiled at Reus and didn't say a word. He was always like that even with his friends, quiet and unassuming. But when it comes to Ian…

“I’m proud to have been caught by that disease, Reus. I'm happy right now. ”

“Me too. I'm happy to have known Skyeisha. ”

Smiling, he sat down on the floor next to Chase and laid the box he was holding on his lap. The box with nothing left or rather given to him by Ian.

He turned to Les who was now plowing. She is happy for Les and Cloud because they already have a love life. He could clearly see the joy on the faces of these friends of his. If only he could also find that happiness.

"Are you in love, Chuck?" Chase asked him and smiled at him, that smile seemed to be hiding something from him that he couldn't fathom.

He smiled at Chase and looked at the box he was holding. "I like someone." his simple answer.

There was silence inside the Locker Room and he saw his teammates, including their Coach Enzo, looking at him. It seemed to be waiting for an explanation from him. And being the shy guy that he was, he didn't elaborate yet. He did not want to be tempted by them.

“ Yosh ! Chuck is a young man! ”

"Let's party!"

"Your noise Jarreus!"

“Right”

He was just shaken by the antics of Reus, Cloud, Guji and Rein who spoke. Even if he doesn't say anything, they will still tease him. He should have known. It is their habit to tease each other. The only thing that annoys them is Enzo. They are afraid of Enzo, including him.

If you still want to live in the world, don't tease Enzo. Because just one look from Enzo was already shaking his knees. They're friends with Enzo, alright. But despite that, their fear for it was still there. Because of the time they had to trip Enzo, it was as if they were also fighting Hitler. Enzo was so intense. But aside from that, they have a lot of respect for Enzo.

“Wow! Before that, Chuck ah? You like someone? Who? Are we classmates? ” Les asked him.

A sweet smile appeared on his lips as he remembered Ian's face. But his smile also disappeared immediately when he remembered the woman's crying earlier.

“Yeah. I like someone and she's not from our class. Sad to say, she loves someone else. ” he said and never tried to mention Ian's name again.

“That’s okay, Chuck. We answer the hill and burial of your heart. What do you want? Still in the Casket? ”

Shaking, he just smiled at them and turned the box he was holding again.
