Ella POV

" Is that what you were taught , to yell at your mom and walk out on her " My dad roared in anger.

'i was never taught' I wanted to yell out but I held myself, that would only cause more trouble now.

I just held everything in saying nothing . I stood staring into space .

" I'm talking to you Ella " he said at the top of his voice. Here we go again , now i have to plead for something that is not my fault.

" I'm sorry " I blurted out

"Your grounded for a month young lady , no going out , you are not going to prom only attending your graduation and if you do words you wouldn't even go anywhere " my dad replied

"Kkay " I shrugged.

There was no need yelling and asking why I was grounded when it was clearly not my fault.

I wasn't going to argue with them , at least i get to go for my graduation and no one even asked me to prom . I turned to Mia with the most innocent smile I could muster.

"Have you found your dress? " I asked softly.

"That's none of your business " Mia replied rolling her eyes at me . I only smiled , she already found it .

"Now go to your room " my dad ordered , i nodded and walked to my room .

Well this is what I get for standing up for myself. I know that was all Mia's and mom doing , I don't just know why they hate me soo much , don't know what I did to deserve this .

I locked the door when I walked into my room. I took off my shoes and flung myself on the bed . I stared at the ceiling, gosh I'm already bored .

' Thank God our exams are over , I think it's better this way , well boredom is gonna kill me for sure, I have only two things to do , chat and play games , talking of writing , I haven't written anything in my diary for days now '

I forced myself up and walked to my closet , I opened a big box hidden at the back of my clothes, I brought out a smaller one , opened it and removed my diary , I do these for extra security especially against Mia . I returned the box back in place and walked to my reading table, picked up my phone and began to write .

"Dear diary

It's been long since i updated my status , many things happened while I was absent , from writing of course.

For all the weirdest things Mia could accuse me of ,she accused me of stealing her dress , so unbelievable!!, now I have to stay in for a month ..... I just can't wait to get into college, I want to live an happy life ,free from mom and dad yelling , free from being grounded all the time .

I don't want to be the hated one anymore, I want a happy and fulfilled life , after getting married to the love of my life , who I haven't met, attaining my dream job , I think I'm gonna stick with being a Doctor and an author, okay not time for that yet ,but I just want an happy life, that's my dream.

Also , Chelsea got asked to prom by her crush Andre, lucky right ? , I didn't even get asked , even if I do I still can't go .... I think that's all for now ...

I closed my diary , locked it and returned it back to my closet. After returning it I walked back to my bed to have a wonderful sleep , I liked the feeling I felt yesterday when I woke up,it was so refreshing, but Mia had to ruin it for me . I hope I feel so good when I wake up tomorrow.....
