My phone rang out loudly, disrupting the peace and quiet in the room.

I dropped the file I was holding and grabbed my phone. I took a look at the caller before picking up.

"Hey, Mom" I said immediately I answered the call.

"Is it sorted out already?" she asked.

"I'm meeting with him now, don't over stress yourself" I replied

"Just be careful okay? Don't do anything that could ruin our reputation again"

" Your dad already did something stupid and -" She paused

"I won't do anything stupid Mom, just keep cool" I grinned.

" Should I trust you, Jake?"

" You totally should"...
