Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Regina looked at him and at the reporter behind her. She decided to get in the car.

"Thanks."

The man didn't say anything and drove off directly.

When he had shaken off the reporter behind him, the man's warm and nice voice came from inside the car, "Do you need help?"

Regina froze for a moment: "You mean?"

"Not considering leaving his company?"

"I signed a 20-year contract with him, with a $20 million breach of contract."

The man said again, "So ...... I'm asking if you need help?"

"If you need money, I can ......"

"No necessary!" Regina interrupted him directly.

Maybe Regina felt she was a little cold. After all, he was trying to help her, so she added: "Don't you think it's too kind to him if I give him money?"

The man laughed: "Yes, it is."

"But giving him the money is only a temporary option. I have more ways to take a revenge."

Regina, again, refused his kind offer: "Thank you, but ...... I can handle it myself."

The man wasn't angry at being rejected twice in a row, but rather it made him more curious about her.

After investigating her, he thought she had married him because she wanted to use his power to get back at Antonio.

But based on his observation in the past two days, he found that she was an independent, strong and wise woman who didn't need his help and could handle herself.

Just by looking at her tricks in the past two days, he knew that Antonio was no match for her, and that this woman was ruthless.

Regina suddenly asked, "Why are you here?"

"Grandpa wants to see you."

"Oh, do you need me to prepare anything?"

Anyway, it was a partnership. BesiDyce, he had helped her today, so she should return his favor.

"Now it's a good time."

"Good."

Along the way, both of them did not say much. It was slightly awkward, although they are now a couple, they are not familiar with each other.

Regina took out her cell phone to look at as if she wanted to ease the awkwardness or really had to check it out.

Williams glanced at her, finding that she was actually looking up his personal data online. The man could not help but laugh out loud.

Regina heard the laughter and asked curiously, "What are you laughing at?"

"You can ask me about my personal information. What is said on the Internet is not always true."

Regina was slightly embarrassed that she had secretly checked people out and was found out.

"Ahem, you've checked me out thoroughly and you even know my whereabouts. It's normal for me to check up on you, right?"

"Well, normal and reasonable."

"But at the time of signing, you really didn't know who I was?"

Regina thought for a moment, "Only knew that you are Williams Sweets, a young entrepreneur, very rich!"

"......"

The man began to introduce himself: "Male, Williams Sweet, 25 years old, married ......"

"The family is in business. The specific industry we involve incluDycehospitals, real estate, banks and hotels. Currently I work for the family."

"Parents are alive and well. Grandfather is in good health."

Regina was stunned: "A healthy man is living in ICU?"

"......"

"That's his hobby."

Regina laughed out loud. Grandpa had such a hobby, probably because his grandson had refused to get married.

Williams looked at her smiling. She is very charming.

Regina noticed him looking at her and blushed as she looked out the window, feeling her heart beat faster.

The car soon drove into the villa. The road gradually thinned out of peDycetrians, and the environment became quieter.

Williams drove into a large estate where Regina was attracted by the architecture.

"Living in your house, you have to get up half an hour early to go to work in the morning, right?"

"People are already at the office and you're not even out of the yard yet."

The man listened to her words and smiled: "So ...... I don't live here."

"Ah, isn't this your house?"

"I don't like to get up early, so I bought a villa next to my company."

"......"

He explained, "It's the family's old estate, with a nice environment and a big place, and grandpa likes to live here."

"We usually come back to keep him company."

"Oh."

"Here it is."

"Where is grandpa?"

The butler said respectfully, "Sir is resting in the bedroom."

"It's lunchtime. He is still not up?"

"Sir says he has no appetite."

Williams frowned slightly: "Go and call him up for lunch, and tell him I'm here."

"Yes."

"Sir, Mr. Sweets Jr. is here, you should get up ......"

The old Williams' voice came from inside the bedroom: "Let him go. How dare he lie to me with a picture. I feel annoyed to see him."

"......"

Regina glanced at Williams, feeling his slight embarrassment, and said with a smile, "Grandpa is really ...... healthy."

"Just listen!"

The old Williams refused to come out no matter what. Regina went to the door and softly said: "Grandpa, Williams and I came to see you."

There was no sound in the room, and it was quiet for about a minute or two.

The door was suddenly opened, only to see the old Williams appeared in a suit.

Regina reacted and hurriedly said, "Grandpa."

It was hard for her to associate the well-dressed old gentleman in front of her with the old man who looked like Peeves just now.

"You are Regina, right? Have a seat."

The old Williams talked a lot to Regina. He was very satisfied with her, and even had to cook for her personally.

"Grandpa, you still know how to cook?"

"I was a chef when I was young, and I taught Will how to cook."

Regina looked at Williams in surprise, unable to believe that this noble prince-like man in front of her could also cook.

The old Williams looked at Regina's surprising expression and knew she didn't know about her grandson's ability to cook.

He scolded his grandson, saying that he did not know how to look after his wife, and told him to cook.

Regina saw them and felt funny. It seems that Williams Sr. is indeed childish.

Regina watched Williams go to cook.

"I'll help you."

Williams Sr. interrupted, "No, cooking is all the husband's business."

"You sit and talk with me."

As the two were talking, Williams brought over two plates of fruit, one in front of Williams Sr. and one in front of Regina.

Regina was wondering why he prepared two.

Williams put one of the plates in front of Regina and told, "This one is for you."

Regina looked at it and thought there was no difference between the two.

"What's the difference?" She asked in a small voice.

The man hesitated: "It's no difference. It's cleaner."

Regina didn't think much of it, guessing Williams was afraid she wouldn't like to eat on the same plate with someone else.

She didn't expect the man to be quite thoughtful.

"You guys eat first. I'll go make dinner."

Regina ate an orange and exclaimed, "So sweet!"

"Grandpa, you try it too. The orange is so sweet."

The old Williams also ate it and thought it was more sour than the lemon.

"Grandpa, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, I ...... I don't like oranges very much."

"Oh, then you try grapes. They are very sweet too."

The old Williams ate them and found them equally sour.

When Regina asked him to eat the pineapple, Williams Sr. refused.

"You eat first. I'm going to get one thing."

Williams Sr. went into his bedroom.

Regina went into the kitchen and saw Williams cooking in the apron.

The man cooked skillful and graceful.

"You really know how to cook?"

The man smiled, "Try my cooking."

Regina watched him smile and felt that he did not seem to be as cold as rumored, but seemed to be quite smiley.

She didn't know that he loved to laugh only at her.

"Doesn't Grandpa like fruit? He barely ate that plate of fruit ."

Williams glanced at the old Williams' fruit plate and felt a little guilty.

In fact, it is not because the old Williams does not like to eat fruit. The reason is that when he cut the fruit, he picked the sweet to Regina, the sour to the old Williams.

Regina did not know what he did, picking up the vegetables next to him and trying to help.

A strand of her hair fell loose, obscuring her view.

Williams saw it, washed his hands, and helped her lift her hair behind her ear.

When his hands touched skin, Regina blushed slightly.

Somehow, the atmosphere in the kitchen suddenly became ambiguous. The two quietly doing what they were doing, neither spoke.

The kitchen was filled with warmth, and the warm sunlight in the afternoon spilling in from the window pane made people unconsciously relax.

Suddenly, Regina felt happy to be able to cook with her beloved one.

Shortly after, Williams Sr. held a box, saying that it was a gift left to Williams' wife by her grandmother and asked her to accept it.

Regina looked at the jewels in the box. Each one is priceless.

"Grandpa, this is too expensive for me to accept."

"Take it."

Williams looked at the two, took the box directly from her hand, and smiled, "I'll take it for you."

"Let's eat first."

Regina did not refuse again, wanting to return it to Williams when she got home. There was no need to upset old Williams now.

"Regina, come and try William's cooking. If it's not good, let him make it again."

"......"

The man opened his mouth and asked, "Grandpa am I an orphan picked up from the garbage?"

The old Williams really thought carefully, and then said: "The winter of the millennium, it snowed so much outside that your mother went out and found a sound in the garbage can."

"Your mother thought there was a mouse in the garbage can, but it turned out to be a little dog and a boy, who were grabbing something to eat in the garbage can."

"Your mother was kind-hearted and carried the little dog home."

"......"

"And what about me?"

"You chased. Your mother thought the little dog with no friend was poor, so you were brought back to be friends with the dog."

The old Williams said sincerely, while Williams kept a poker face.

"Pfft ...... hahaha ......," Regina laughed and felt it so funny.

They were too funny!

The two Williams looked at Regina happy and got happy too.

Williams cut the fish and put it on Regina's plate.

"Try it." With that, he put on his disposable gloves to handle the shrimp again.

Regina saw the man's gentle and considerate action, blushed slightly and said thank you.

Such a warm and harmonious family made her feel very comfortable.

Regina even felt lucky to live in such a family.

It's unlike her family which was full of aggression, conflicts and injustice.

Regina tasted a bite and praised, "It's delicious. Really good."

Williams was in a good mood when he heard her say it was delicious, as if being recognized by her for this cooking was something to be happy about.

The man smiled and replied pleasantly, "Then have more."

Regina looked at the handsome man next to her and couldn't help but smile. Her heart beat faster.

After lunch, the two accompanied the old Williams to roam around the estate.

When it got dark, the old Williams wanted them to stay overnight at the estate, but the two refused for various reasons.

Before leaving Regina felt thirsty and randomly took a piece of the leftover fruit at noon. But she did not expect it to be sour.
