Monica POV:

When the man heard Martin’s words, he looked at Lucy in surprise.

Lucy noticed him as well. When the man looked at her, she immediately shouted excitedly, “Why are you looking at me? I don’t know you! Don’t try to slander me!”

Lucy was so excited that I couldn’t help frowning. I said to her coldly, “Why are you nervous? He just looked at you but didn’t say you did it. You get worked up about it. Are you guilty?”

Lucy’s face turned paler and she was more excited. She almost tried to jump.

“What do you mean by that? I’m the young lady of the Nolan family....
