"Mom, stop crying. Mara is here to take care of you. I'm here mom." I said.
She sniffed and blood rushed out of her nose. I hated watching her passed through hell, Yet there was nothing I could do to help her.

I led mom outta the bathroom into her room and guarded her parked on her bed. I hurriedly stormed out of her room and picked the first aid box from the store and sprint back to her room.
"I'm gonna work your hurt now." I said dropping the box on her bed. Melissa, she smiled at me and I felt relief, her happiness was my everything.
"Huh, the last time I check, Mara you're not a doctor, not even a nurse."
"Mom!" I called smiling.
"Trust Mara she's not gonna hurt you." I said slowly, held her head to work on her hurt
It quite crazy she fell and bruised her head deeply on the stairs.
"Arrrrrrr!" Melissa screamed to my touch of course, I felt her pain too.
"Mara it hurts badly." she shouted and pushed off my hands.
"Mom, I'm sorry. I'll be more gentle this time." I said slowly.
"I trust you my little angel. Oh no, my great Angel." she said making me laughed gently.
That was a crazy complement from her because I was human and not angel.
I worked on her head more carefully and gently. I dare not hurt her.
She was the only thing I got in this whole world and I loved her badly, I was lucky enough she loves me too.
________
I finished her head and arranged my stuff.
It's crazy I did it perfectly.
"Thanks." she said smiling.
"You're welcome, I was born to make you happy. Trust me Mom, I won't disappoint you. I will always make you smile. You're one in a million."
"Mara." she called gently, I hugged her and kissed her cheek.
"I'm the most luckiest mother, having a child, who gives light when the days are dark and dreadful, you're everyone's dream. I'm Lucky enough I have you, One with a difference." Mom said and I felt special for the very first time, I couldn't help but smiled faintly.
"I love you mom."
"Love you more." she said sweetly.
"Excuse me, I'm off to the kitchen, let me know if you need anything."
"Alright." she said and I grabbed my aid-box and run off.
Sharron's POV
I walked out of the shower extremely wet, I flinched my head wildly and my hair fly roughly. I hissed and arranged my hair slowly. The door bell rung and I scoffed, reached for it, I grasped the knop and rolled it swiftly, It opened revealing Mom in a black bikini. I smiled at her and she didn't disappoint me of course she smiled back.
Tho we had some silly issue lately.
"Can I?" She asked innocently, I chuckled widely.
"That's crazy." I said slowly.
"Of course, you can."
"Thanks." she said slowly, stepped in and plopped on my bed gently, her eyes turned red.
She smiled at me, and her eyes turned normal. I sighed and sat close to her. Trust me, shakirah only do that when she wanted to say something deep to me, whatever it is I'm ready to listen.
"What's it mom?" I asked.
"It's about you." she said concerned.
"I'm always fine Mom."
"I know but this is different."
"What's that? I mean what's different?"
"Your life, It's actually not save, you have strong adversaries, they're born to make you roll in hell." she said sadly. I rubbed my eyes, wondering whom she was talking about.
"I know why I assigned those guards to follow you. I'm not a fool."
"But-"
"Sharron! Believe me. Believe your mother." she cut me short.
"I have enough powers to protect myself. So why the guards mom?" I asked confused.
"You wouldn't understand....."
"Then make me understand Mom." I cut her short.
"Okay, I'll tell you a story, or rather the history of your birth. It's crazy." she said.
"I'm curious." I shouted.
"Tonight I'm gonna have a very enormous deep talk with you."
"Why not now?" I asked.
"It will be cool at night." she said
Mara's POV
I arranged the dinner on the table, went into mom's room, she was looking fab as I expected and I smiled.
"Mom!" I called and hugged her.
"You're done huh?"
"Yeah and how are you feeling now?"
"Better" she confessed.
"Nice, trust me you'll be more better after dinner " I said in a whisper.
"Yeah, I know right.”
"Yeah, it's gonna work." I Ied her outta her room, dropping solemnly on the stairs, we arrived at the dinner table and I drawled out the chair, helped her sit comfortably.
"Mom, dinner is served." I announced and she shrugged as we began to eat.
_________
I washed the plates after we'd our dinner and helped mom back to her room.
It's crazy I missed work today! I sighed to my thought. as I stared at my 'TO DO LIST'
I was supposed to be at a fast food eatery but taking of Mom was everything. I couldn't abandon her for work's sake.
I picked up my back pack that I had left in the sitting room earlier and collected my phone.
I dialled Mrs Maria's, and she picked up on third ring.
"Hey." she said coolly.
"I'm deeply sorry, I couldn't make it to work today. I'm sorry ma'am." I said.
"It's crazy, you ruined everything up for me. I'm sure you're not...."
"I'm sorry. It won't happen again." I cut her short.
"Definitely it won't happen again because you're fired." she yelled.
"I'm sorry I can explain." I cried.
"I'm not interested in your story." she said rudely and ended the call.
God, this woman is mean, she hates me for no reason. I can't believe she just sacked me.
I shrugged and threw my phone away. I felt depressed and plopped on the couch.
My life suck.
It was dark already when I walked into mom's room. I was selfless, yea, I care about her a lot.
She smiled at me as I segued gently and sat on the edges of her bed.
"Mara." she called and hugged me.
"Thanks." she said.
"For what mom?"
"Your care." she smiled.
"Mom, that's not necessary." I said.
She stared at me weirdly without saying a word.
"Mara." she said and tilting my chin with her index fingers, making me to look into her eyes.
"I'm glad you're still the Mara I chose, you have gotten full control of your powers, she can't hurt you." she said and I sighed in confusion.
What's she talking about?
"Mom, what's are you talking about?"
"Mara, I'm gonna tell you a story."
"OK mom." I said, allowed my ass to sunk into her bed.
"The most saddest thing in life, is to get married and ended up without child. It's so crazy I was victim of that."
"But mom, you're not because you have me."
"Yeah after waiting for a child for many years, it seemed I will never have one, that was before your birth."
She paused and look at me as my facial expression changed roughly.
My confusion grew like a wild plant.
"Go on mom." I begged.
"Shakirah!" She called and shivered, It seemed the name was forbidden to be called. I was perplexed really dull over everything.
"Who's shakirah!?" I asked.
"She's is my greatest nightmare."
"How?"
"We used to be very good friends. It's so crazy I knew less about her. Yet I claimed she was the best among my friends qnd I fell for her. I have always acknowledged some strange activities in her but I was too adamant about our friendshid, and I couldn't confront her.” She paused and breathed.
“We got married and ended up without child. It was a torn in our flesh. Our grief grew taller than us. It was like being alive, without life. The steel to have a child was grand in us. Without hesitation we decided to help ourselves elsewhere." she paused.
"Where mom?" I asks Breathing hard.
"i
In an unusual space." she took a deep breathe and tears lashed door her cheeks. I gulped the lump in my throat feeling extremely weak.
"So?"
"There I found you after I claimed you. Shakirah break the bombshell. She felt jealous and that was the beginning of our spiritual fight. We hated each other and there was a great enmity between her seed and mine." she paused and smiled.
"Mom." I whimpered in fear.
"But trust me, you're light and darkness can't subdue you."
"How?"
"You have powers."
"I can't feel any supernatural power Mom." I protested and she smiled.
"I'm gonna show you now." she said and crawled over to her closet. There she brought out a tiny box. It sparked like a gold and she smiled at it. She walked back and sat close to me. I was dying of curiosity.
The light in her room went death, as she opened the tiny white box. 'It's magical'. I thought.
I looked into it. God, I almost lost my sights to its spark as it kept glittering sharply.
The room became dim, with a soft ray from what seemed to be a ring, resting inside the box. I scoffed in confusion and watched mom with horror eyes.
She muttered some words and handed the box to me. I took it fearfully.
"Pick it, and wear it in your finger." she said and I did.
I felt braveness ran through my veins, my eyes widened.
The ring was strange_ it was not natural. Mom smiled at me and I felt unique. I'm not the same Mara I used to be, I was a changed soul.
"The ring will teach you all you need to know." mom said chilly.
"Alright." I nodded, stared at the ring and its manipulation in my body.
"Promise me, you will always protect me."
"Sure Mom." I said andnd hugged her.
I pulled away, checked the time it was late already.
"Good night." I said and run off.
Sharon's POV
I felt awful as mom kept feeding me with her story.
"Melissa took what's mine, and that was the end of our friendship. Now she's under a spell. But her daughter will definitely set her free. You need to subdue her. Sharon, search and terminate her dreams before she kicks both of us into hell." Mom said.
"Trust me mom, how can I recognise her." I asked.
"When you see her, this necklace will alert you." she said and handed it over to me.
" I've always admired this." I said.
"It's magical, it's your powers. Fight and make mom proud." she said.
'I'll mom. Trust me, Melissa and her daughter will pay for their sin, because those who angered us. Must take part in it." I said frostily.
"Good. So tell me, now that you know are you still sending the guards away?" she asked.
"Hell no. I need more." I shouted and we laughed. I slipped the necklace gently to my neck. My eyes burned out fire. My ire grew furiously.
I became more deathly. I became worse than before. I flee outta mom's room and landed in my bed.
_______________
Driving in mom's convoy to school the next morning, I was feeling seldom, it was quite perilous to step on me, I was not myself, I was worse than before, I practically deathly.
We parked and I stepped out, I made to move, when I caught sight of Mara. She looked unique. I gasped when the necklace in my neck sparked rapidly.
