Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Julie was confused. She didn't know how Tony managed to persuade her to bring him to the pit today. On a school night to make matters it worse.

Maybe it was because his birthday was fast approaching and she wanted to keep him happy. Or she was just an easy pushover.

Whatever it was they were here. Tony with his biker friends and she at the bar having her usual. Johnny had come and left saying he had important business to handle.

Julie was bored. The pit used to be her favourite place but playing older sister took the fun out of it. She had to keep an eye out for Tony and any trouble.

When her eyes were scanning for Tony they past a familiar face and she gasped. Not wanting to be seen she quickly turned around and faced the bar.

Marcel looked at her funny but just shook his head and let her be crazy.

"Cara who are you hiding from?" He darn well found her still.

Julie turned to her left and found him looking at her as if she was crazy. His signature tailored suit was out of place in the pit but he looked like he could care less.

"Are you following me?" Julie asked narrowing her eyes at him.

" That is not something I would do Cara Mia . I was here for business when I saw you. It must be destiny." Alessio said with a smirk rising at his last statement.

Julie scoffed."Destiny my ass Alessio. This is the pit, it's not your type of scene."

"Ahh that is were you are wrong. This is my scene, especially since I own the pit." Alessio replied.

"You lie." Julie accused.

His face changed then, a tic at his jaw when he clenched his teeth. He looked like she just spit on his face.

"I do not lie."he ground out. "I bought it a few years ago. I should ask what an angel like you is doing in a place like this."

"Hey oldie Wassup?" Tony said as he joined them.

"My name is Alessio ,Tony. Not Oldie." Alessio said to the young man trying to be stern but his eyes held slight amusement. Clearly Tony did not know who he was or he would not be giving him nicknames.

"I'm playing man. By the way sorry Jules was rude to you the other day. She is just overprotective and she gets defensive when there is new people."

"No worries, your sister had every right to kick me out of her house." Alessio replied but his eyes were focused on her.

"Well this is not her house, how about a race?"

"Tony-" Julie spoke a warning on her tone.

"Maybe next time Tony, your sister has not warmed up to me. I wish to relieve her of my presence." And turning to Julie he gave her a nod." Until next time angel ,ciao."

Alessio turned and walked away. She didn't even have to chase him away this time.

"You managed to make him feel unwelcome at any place you will be." Tony said shaking his head.

"That's not true he left on his own." Julie replied with a shrug.

"So 'our lives can't even cross for an hour' isn't what made him leave?" Julie felt like his little brother was actually scolding him for being mean to others.

"Toonnnyyyy." She whined.

"Stop thinking everyone is a bad guy out to get you Jules."

"Alessio is not a good guy Tony. He is the type of men we should all stay clear from." She tried to defend her actions.

"What has he ever done to you?"

"Nothing yet but I know his type."

"What if you are wrong?"

"Tony just stop, I will not have an argument with you about Alessio. There are things you don't know."

"Then tell me."

"No. Not yet."

"When?"

"When you are older and I know you will be safe. For now trust that I do what's best for us."

"Ya whatever you say."

"Let's go home then."

Alessio sat deep in thought as Luigi drove him back home. Lukas had been busy so he was forced to come check on the pit's progress. He did not expect to meet Julie here.

After he left her house that day, well he was kicked out he was intrigued. He had some of his people keeping tabs on her.

She was soft and delicate not like the women in his world. He had gone to see her that time just to confirm she existed. He still couldn't believe there were people who would help him and want nothing in return.

Usually when women found out he was worth millions they stuck to him like glue. But not Julie Andrews, he even thought that Lukas lied to keep him away from Julie. He thought his brother fancied her.

It was a possibility, Julie was a beauty. Blonde hair ,blue icy eyes he usually liked darker women. Tall ,robust women but Julie was fair ,soft, small and looked delicate until she opened her mouth and kicked him out.

"How was the pit?" Lukas asked as Alessio entered their home.

"Business as usual."

"And Miss Andrews?"

"A coincidence."

"Hmm"

Alessio ignored his brother's inquisitive gaze.
