Julie felt lazy today. Work had been busy the past few days that she welcomed her off day with open arms.

"Jules you still sleeping?" Tony asked poking his head inside her room.

"I'm too tired." She mumbled.

" It's Ok .I will just grab cereal and head to school. Sleep in for a bit."

"Thanks. Have a good day." She mumbled.

Surprisingly she did fall back to sleep only waking up when her stomach grumbled. After a shower and making her bed she went to hunt for nourishment.

Checking her cell phone she found a text from Lucy tell her how the new, hot doctor winked at her.

Dr Luis Adams had caused a steer amongst the nurses. Young, hot and single , he had the lot vying for his attention. And he was a total flirt, definitely a turn off for her.

Lucy had written him as potential hubby and she was part of the Adams fan club. A wink from the doctor was big news.

Searching for food she found their fridge empty with only cereal available. That's when she was hungry for a full American breakfast.

After eating she cleaned then headed to the supermarket. An empty fridge equals a moody teenage boy.

Shopping took longer than she thought and by the time she was done it was almost time for Tony to finish school. Deciding on picking him up and saving him from taking the bus she headed to Eastwood high.

The bell had not yet rung when she got there and she had to wait a few minutes. As she waited a slick ,black car with tinted windows drove by and parked a few metres away from her.

The bell rang and students flocked out. Tony spotted her and immediately came to the car.

"Hey"

"Hey"

"So how was school?"

"The usual."

"Hmm."

"What?"

"You a lot less chatty today. I usually have to sew your lips closed."

"It was just one of those boring days."

"Ok if you say so."

Julie noticed the black car tailing them a few cars behind her and she gripped the steering tight. She turned a different route and the car was still there.

When she parked in her drive way the car passed and drove off. She never got to see who was inside. Luckily Tony was oblivious to all of that.

For the rest of the week she spotted a black car tailing her. From work ,the store or anywhere she went. Friday she snapped.

Tony was staying over at a friend's place for the weekend so she was home alone. After work she went home to get her car and drove to the last place she thought she would go.

Alessio was deeply in grossed in a meeting with some of his top men when he heard there was a disturbance at his gate.

He waved for his security to deal with it how ever he saw fit and went back to his meeting.

A few minutes later his man came back without his gun and spotting a shinner and said he had a guest in his office.

Angry at being disturbed and having his guard attacked he abruptly ended the meeting and headed to his office.

He found the last person he thought he would see and his anger was temporarily forgotten.

"Cara?"

She looked mad and ready for war. Holding a gun pointed at him. He wondered how she had disarmed his man.

"Alessio did I not tell you to leave me the fuck alone."

He approached her slowly."What do you mean angel?"

"I'm not in the mood for bullshit." Julie snapped.

"Seriously I have not seen you since the day at the pit. What could I have done now?" Alessio went and sat on his chair not taking his eyes off her or the gun.

" Oh so your men have not been tailing me for the past week?"

Alessio frowned. "I never gave such an order."

She took the safety off the gun."There was a black tinted car following me from work and you dare lie to me."

"Cara I told you before I do not lie. I did not send men to you." He told her honestly.

Julie paused."Then who."

"Wait " he took his cell phone and dialed a number." Lukas come to the office." He ordered.

When Lukas walked in his steps faltered as he found Julie with a gun pointed at his brother. He looked to Alessio who looked calm. He reached for his gun but Alessio shook his head at him.

"Miss Andrews says a car has been tailing her, do you know anything about this?" Alessio asked.

"No."

"He could be lying." Julie countered.

"Miss Andrews we do not lie. It is not my men following you."

All the colour drained from Julie's face as the anger she felt turned to fear and panic.

"Oh shit Tony." She whispered before bolting out of the office to her car.

She tried not to think as she sped to Danny's Tony's friend where he was sleeping over.

She got there in record time and ran to bang and ring the doorbell simultaneously.

A sleepy Danny opened the door ,his parents not far behind him. They looked shocked seeing her.

"Hey Dan can I have a word with Tony?"

"Ah Julie, Tony is not here. We canceled the sleepover cause I wasn't feeling ok and he went home."

"He left?" " Ok thanks he must have got home after I left. Let me go there."

"Ok cool"

"Thanks, sorry for the noise Mr and Mrs Peters."

"It's ok Julie. See you soon." Mrs Peters replied with a smile.

Julie got into her car and sped home. She was praying her brother was safe at home playing with his X box.

When she got home she ran to the house. On entering she heard the sound of Tony's video game playing in the lounge and she breathed a sigh of relief.

She walked towards the sound and was welcome by her living room looking like a tornado passed through.

Her world came crushing so hard that she didn't hear footsteps approaching her.

"Cara you left in a hurr- " "What happened here?"

"He is gone. They took him. Oh Lord I failed him." She said before she broke down falling to the floor.
