I was woken up abruptly by the movement beside me. I had managed to fall into an uneasy sleep with the pain from the bruising penetrating through my sleepy haze once in a while. Blinking slowly, I noticed we were parked in front of a house. I stood up almost abruptly, momentarily forgetting the state of my body, and was rewarded with sharp pain.
