Repeated loud bangs roused me from my precious sleep. I lay down and tried to ignore it, but the bangs became louder. I glared at the door as soon as I heard Eric's voice on the other side.

"Rise and shine, sis!" he said.

"You do realise it's supposed to be the other way around, and I don't work till night," I replied.

"I know."

"And you also know the noise is not necessary."

"I know. But it felt good." I could feel the smile behind his voice. I felt my face painted red with fury. The little rascal must have contacted some sadistic virus from Theo yesterday....
