I nodded casually to the bouncer and made my way into the booth. Theo sat on the sofa with his legs casually crossed and his signature shades and grin.

"It still feels weird for us to meet like this." I slowly walked towards him.

"I can't help it," Theo retorted, taking off his shades. "You kind of ran off when the main event was about to start."

I plopped onto his lap and placed my arms around him.

"Sorry," I scoffed with a shake of my head. "But there was no way I was going to let your secretary catch me."

I couldn't finish my statement, and my cheeks reddened...
