Kai paused what he was doing and the spoon Charles was holding fell loudly, his jaws were open and his eyes were wide in shock as he stared at me

I suddenly realized what I had said, I palmed my mouth immediately. "There's a child here, I'm sure you realize that," Kai said- my wide eyes went to him

"I mean-" I didn't even know what to say

"I didn't hear anything." Charles shrugged, and Kai scoffed- who was he fooling? "I'll just go have my bath" he slipped out of the kitchen
