"I'll be back" I promised but Charles wouldn't let go of me. Jenna had to step in, she crouched behind Charles, gently pulling him away but his hand tightened around my neck even harder

"Charlie hunny..." She pleaded in a whisper while I tried to loosen his grip around my neck

Finally, he let me go and I sighed sadly inwardly. Seeing him do this makes me want to stay or take him with me
