ALPHA LUCAS DYLAN
I was so mad. Mad at the fact that my mate had hurt herself. I wanted to punish her badly. I wanted to bend her over those counter and take her from behind.
Just a year ago, I wasn't sure why i was suddenly interested in her. Just a year ago, I was starting to notice her more and more when I’d never taken notice of her before.
It irritated me to no end then. I’d spent an entire half a year observing her in the past before I got to understand she was the person the moon goddess had made for me.
Aside from being exceptionally beautiful, she was hardworking and respectful.
When I found out she was my mate, I wasted no time in claiming me.
I’d seen and been with my fair share of beautiful women. More than that, she was extra ordinary and I wanted her to be mind alone.
I inhaled loudly.
I’ve barely mustered the time to manage the pack's affairs as it was.
I’ve been engrossed with the wedding preparation, inviting far and neigboring packs. I wanted my wedding to be talk of everyone’s mouth.
Tomorrow was a big day and the last thing i needed right now was a distraction of any kind.
THE NEXT DAY
BIALEY POV
Mom entered my room with her attendant, holding a platinum diamond encrusted white ball gown with floral lace across the chest line.
“Make my daughter stunning” she said to her attendant.
“I’ll be back to fetch you in thirty minutes. My attendant will fix you up,” she commanded.
Mom was just like Reginal. Always good at ordering people around just because my father was the pack beta.
Before she exited the room, she arched her head back around towards me and declared, “Don’t mess this up. our depends on it.”
I flinched at the click of the door. Gosh!
Today was fucking my wedding day but all mom cares for was her selfish desires.
I sighed. She can never change.
When she found out Alpha Dylan was my mate, mom had suddenly had interest in me.
She had make sure I ended up with me. I was scared Alpha Dylan would reject me but he proved me since I was a nerd girl but he’d prove me wrong instead.
I couldn’t be more grateful.
Outside the windows, nobles from neighboring packs were arriving. A cavalcade of black Mclarens rolled up the brick-laded split driveway leading up to the palace’s main entrance.
However, there wasn’t time to watch the arriving guests. Mom would chop my head if I don’t get ready before she comes back.
I recollected my strength and ran into the shower. As the hot water ran down my skin, the gory scene finally settled in, and I could no longer hold my dry heave back.
By the time I was done cleaning myself, Mom’s attendant had been standing by the vanity, waiting for me.
I sat down on the stool and she ordered, “Close your eyes.”
I immediately obeyed her and in no time, she started working on me.
She was an extension of mom herself and showed no emotion, no compassion, and no concern. Her job was to make me look like a princess. That was it.
I felt her brushing over the little scratch on my cheek, and then she went on to work on the rest of my face. However, it didn’t seem to take long for her at all.
Next, she let my waist-length brunette curly hair fall, maybe trying to decide on the best style. I’d always liked my hair. It was naturally beautiful, coffee bean colored locks that had a satiny finish. I believed for the sake of time, she kept it that way except for sorting out some knots.
When I heard her voice again, she seemed satisfied with her work. “Open now.”
In the mirror, I couldn’t recognize myself.
My face was only lightly manicured, allowing a natural and healthy glow to radiate off my skin. The scratch mark was cleverly covered, and no one would be able to tell it was ever there.
A slightly glittery eyeshadow could be seen above my long eyelashes, highlighting my touriouse eyes, and my pink lips looked healthy and soft with the colorless lipstick giving it a natural shine. My brunette curls cascaded down like waterfalls. But, most importantly, I looked like a princess.
Elegant, radiant, and chic.
I was stunned by the beauty in the mirror. The makeup was minimal: some foundation, eyeshadow, mascara and blush. But otherwise, this face was mine. I’d never taken the time to appreciate it before.
“Now put this on,” The attendant instructed.
I stepped into the platinum gown mom bought. It fit me perfectly. It was as if it had been personally tailored just for me.
The sound of knuckles violently tapped on the door. Mom came in. She was dressed in a fresh blood-orange gown reminiscent of the massacre here.
She approached the vanity leisurely, taking her time to survey me. Her fingernails bore into my chin as she grabbed at my jawline to rotate my face so she could see every detail, every angle.
“You shouldn’t mess this up. You should be lucky he accepted a lowlife like you” she whispered into my lobe, making contact with my eyes through the vanity mirror. It looked like she was ready to gnaw off my ear.
I vigorously shook my head i won’t. I love Dylan.’
“Good,” she praised as she straightened her body. “Now let’s go.”
I inhaled deeply. This was it.
Mom yanked my wrist, nearly pulling my shoulder out of its socket.
“You learn quickly, my dear Baile,” she commended, seemingly pleased with me getting married.
The door opened and I tilted my head back to look at the fellow omegas by my door.
“You will be a Luna now. You don’t have to concern yourself with lowlifes anymore. Do you understand?”
“Yes, yes mom,” I responded hastily.
“We will be expecting you soon” Mom kissed my cheek and walked out with her attendant.
I inhaled deeply before getting up. It was time to walk down the aisle.
The omegas escorted me behind as I left my room.
Reaching the floor-to-ceiling golden entryway, chandeliers blinded me as the crystals reflected the light into my pupils. The scent of the finest cuts of meat and aged wines filled my nose, twisting my intestines.
At this moment, i realized how much preparation Alpha Dylan had put in our wedding.
Just like my prefect dream wedding.
As I approached the hall, Reginal mind linked me.
“Bailey…. Help!!!!” She cried.
