#Chapter4
I was just looking down at them when suddenly the ride begins to move shooting us down to the ground at high speed. This ride is very familiar to oblivion at Alton towers but instead of going into a deep black hole. You just travel around for a bit, still at a fast speed. This time I am the one reaching and grabbing Trey's arm.
Trey moves his other hand on top of mine and whispers silly things as we ride around. I’m surprised I haven't fainted or something because this is so scary.
Once we level with the ground finally, Trey helps me get out my seat. He lifts up the barriers that was over my chest and takes a hold of my hand and pulling me out.
I slowly manage to walk with him even though my legs are shaking so hard from the thrill of the ride we were just on.
"See that wasn't so bad was it " Trey nudges me or more like punches me. I try my hardest not to show him my weakness. I don't think he realises how strong he actually is.
"It was bad " I mumble making my way over to the food stand which is currently selling curly fries in ginormous volumes.
I can hear him chuckle but he still follows. As I was ordering my fries I hear someone come up to Trey and start to talk to him.
I turn and find a guy who looks like he's into the same clothes as Trey as I notice their oddly familiar outfits.
Once he sees me he opens his mouth to speak but Trey stops him.
"Toby this is Mia " my eyes widen in realisation, well it's nice to put a name to a face.
"Mia, nice to meet you " he gathers me in his arms and picks me up slightly. Well that's a hug and a half.
Tell me I'm wrong but why did Trey look a bit angry when Toby had his arms around me. Toby did prolong the time we hugged for but other than that nothing really happened.
"Ashley is in the toilet I just thought I'd say hello " he motions to the toilets before facing back.
"I see, well it was fun but I'm going to go home now " I break the little moment with a hopeful thought that I could actually get out of this place.
I briefly say goodbye to both of them. I do notice Trey has a confused look as he sees me make my abrupt exit.
He seems like a nice guy but I just don't think I can trust him. He's too high on the scale of popularity and close to the people that found it so easy to betray me.
On my way back I couldn't shake the feeling off. Having someone around who wanted to spend time with me was refreshing and new and I do not know how I feel about that, especially since it's a boy.
I'm used to being on my own as long as I can remember but I don't really feel lonely, It's got the point where I enjoy my own company and I don't need others to fill in that gap.
With Trey, it was a change and in the good sense as well, he wasn't as annoying as I expected him to be and I actually had a smile on my face for once.
It might shock people but I actually had a big group of friends a few years ago. I had a large group of friends that were always there for me and the same I was to them.
It was the best years of my life in school. But It didn't last long because one of my best friends boyfriends decided he didn't want to be with her anymore and the result of that, he asked me out instead.
I said no but he took a keen interest to me and the next thing I know I'm being blamed for the fact that he dumped her.
Like I tried to steal him away from her.
Ever since then I have been the lonely girl with only one friend. As days passed I started to think that my friends then just wanted a reason not to hang out with me. It’s fine I just wish they were honest about it.
Amelia was angry at me because she fully convinced herself that I was this horrible man stealer who was out to get her boyfriend. Everyone thought that as well except Ashley she knew me better than anyone else and decided to stay friends with me, unlike the others.
Chad even decided to stop being friends with me even though technically It was all his fault because he dumped her and tried to get with me. A total Jackass if you ask me.
Don't get me wrong he was good looking and had a great personality but I don't think I could ever see him for any more than just friends. Because that's what we were.
Ashley was the only one out of the whole group who stuck with me, although she meets up with them and talks to them occasionally she spends more time with me.
Which I am grateful for but I do know that she misses hanging around with them especially the girls.
Ashley was the new girl and she fit in just perfectly with her bubbly and confident personality. It was practically impossible not to like her.
She does occasionally get some shit when she's seen around me but she just ignores them and continues on to do whatever the fuck she was doing.
As I walk up to my house I immediately notice the black car parked in the driveway. For once my mum is actually home.
I quietly make my way in hopefully she won't see me so she doesn't have an excuse to shout at me. Like she normally does.
