I came up with a lame excuse which I'm pretty sure he knew I was lying.

"So how do you know Jake he hasn't stopped talking about you " Toby says looking at me through the ride view mirror.

Shit I completely forgot he was friends with Jake. Really Mia have you been living under a rock.
