Twenty Seven

Trey had his head cocked to the side as he stared at me.

I brought my hand to my chest after realising I was holding his hand still. He was the movement with his head still to the side.

"How long have you been awake" I say to him quietly.

He finally takes his eyes off me. He made it seem as though it was difficult for him to even do that. He sits up on the bed his eyes piercing into mine. I can feel like he wants to say something but he is holding back, I can see it in his eyes.
