Diana's POV

We got to Adrian Hunter's Mansion and some of his goons with guns were guarding the gate

"Hello" I smiled with a wave

"State your business" they said as they cocked their guns at Eric and I

"Come on guys, it's very rude to point those guns at people you do not know" I said

"State your business, we won't be asking a third time" they said

"Adrian Hunter, where is he?" Eric asked

"Why do you need to meet him?" they asked

"We just have a few questions we want to ask him" I said

"Well he's not around, so leave" they said

"Did I mention to you guys that I am not really in a good mood right now?" I asked and they glanced at each other

"And how would that be our business?" they asked

"Don't Dianna" Eric said but he said it a little bit too late as I had already twisted the first guard's neck and I plunged my flaming hand into the second guard's neck and ripped out his heart

"What the hell are you doing?!" Adrian yelled as he emerged from the house

"Coming out earlier would've saved your men's life" I said as I threw the heart away and it splattered on the floor

"You killed them!!" Adrian yelled

"They got on my nerve" I shrugged

"You.... you Hammingtons are beasts, you are a sacrilege on Earth!" he yelled

"Yeah, we've heard that before" I said

"Why are you guys even here?!" He asked

"We came to ask a few questions" Eric said

"And how important were those questions that it warranted you killing my men!" he yelled

"Eva said you swore to eliminate the Hammingtons" Eric said

"Yeah, if I could of course I will" he said

"So you can't kill us, why?" Eric asked

"What are you talking about? You guys are immortal, as much as I want you guys dead, it's impossible" he said

"Enough of your games" I said as I grabbed Adrian's throat

"The immortal killing spell, do you have it?" I asked

"What.....what are you talking about?" he stuttered and I tightened my grip

"Do you have the immortal killing spell?!" I yelled and he coughed vigorously

"Stop Dianna, you are going to kill him!" Eric said and I let go of his throat

"What.....what the hell is an.....an immortal killing spell?" Adrian asked

"He isn't the one Dianna" Eric said

"I guess we know who our next suspect is then" I said and walked away

Did you really take the spell Ivan? Are you really going to fight me?

Gia's POV

I drove Ivan and Layla back to Arcane City and the ride was a really long, silent and awkward one, so I decided to break the silence

"If I had not approached you today, when were you planning on getting your revenge Ivan? Or did you already give up on revenge before?" I asked but I received no answer from him

He was seated in the front seat with me and he was just staring into the road

"Ivan?" I called tapped him

"Just drive Gia!" he said almost yelling and I nodded

Yeah he's pretty hyper right now, I mean who wouldn't be, he just heard his woman is still suffering even after death and there's absolutely nothing he can do about it, anyone would be really angry after hearing that

"Oh please will you two shut it!" Layla said from the backseat

"Shut it? But no one is talking" I said

"Your minds are talking, you are thinking of how angry Ivan is and Ivan thinking of how he's going to make Dianna suffer for killing Sophie" Layla sighed

"Come on guys, can we just focus on the road and not talk or think so I can get a good rest before we get to the battle ground?" Layla asked

"Your mind reading ability, can't you just turn it off sometimes?" I asked

"I don't read minds, I hear your mind just like I am hearing you speaking so unless you want me to cast a deafening spell on myself, no I cannot turn it off" she said and I nodded

"Figures why you stayed alone in the woods for all those years, to avoid hearing people's thoughts" I said

"Well hearing people's thoughts isn't always a good thing, when it gets too much, it can drive anyone crazy" Layla said

"What happened to this place?" Ivan asked as I drove into Arcane City and some building were on fire, people were running around for safety and some witches were outside the building trying to fight a man

"This is the new Arcane City brother, the demons that escaped from the Hell Gates have been pretty busy causing havoc since their escape, you see that man over there?" I pointed at the man the witches were fighting "See his eyes, they are black, means he's been possessed by one of the demons and that means he must be one of the powerful demons cause not all the demons are capable of possessing a host"

"And how do you know all this? Ethan told you?" Layla asked

"Well you might still think of him as a kid but he is the Guardian of The Hell Gates and his powers enables him to know everything there is to know about these demons" I said

"Stop the car" Ivan said

"Why? We've not gotten to where we are going yet" I said

"He wants to go help those witches fight the demon" Layla said

"What?! Why? There fight is none of your business" Gia said

"That bloody demon is destroying that building and that building is the bar Sophie used to work for so it's very well my business Gia" Ivan said

"No Ivan, it's just a building, we are supposed to make a silent entrance into the city with no one knowing about your arrival and I won't let you ruin that" I said

"Fine then, don't stop the car" Ivan said as he removed both his gloves

"What the hell are you doing Ivan?" I asked as his placed his two hands, one was flaming vigorously and the other was exuding lightening, on the car door burning it and jumping out of the moving car

Eric's POV

Dianna and I were almost at the Mansion when one of Eva's witch ran to us

"There's commotion at the bar shop, a potentes was sighted there and he has a host, some of us are trying to hold him back but I don't think we'll last for too long, the demon is too powerful" she said

"Go in Dianna, I'll be back soon" I said as I made to follow the witch that just gave us the information but Dianna held me back

"She said it's one of the potentes, there's no way am missing out on that, I'd love to see how powerful the potentes are so I'm coming with you, perhaps, I need somewhere to release my anger right now" Dianna said and I sighed

"Fine, let's go" I said and we left together, along with Eva's witch

We approached the burning building but the witches didn't seem to be fighting the demon anymore, a small crowd had gathered and they seemed to be watching something going on

"What is going on here?" I asked as Dianna and I jostled through the crowd to the front

And what did we see?! Ivan! without his gloves, fighting the demon

He had plunged his hand into the man's chest and rip out his heart

The demon immediately flew from the body but Ivan immediately caught it with his flaming hand and with a loud shrieking noise, the demon dissipated into nothingness

The crowd screamed in excitement for their new found hero and just when he was about to leave he saw Dianna and I and he walked towards us

"I.....Ivan?" Dianna stuttered

"You shouldn't be out here sister, you should always stay with your baby and enjoy this moment that you have because you can't see your baby no longer when you're dead" Ivan said

"Stop it Ivan" I said and he looked at me

"Nice to meet you too Eric, I'd love to stay and chat but I have to run along, but not to worry, you'd be seeing me soon" he said and made to leave

But he stopped and looked back

"You two should go back home and get some rest, take care of that beating hearts on your chests, for it won't be there much longer" he said with a smirk and walked off.....
