Mileena POV:

Sitting at my usual spot in the cafeteria, which was further in the back by the exit. Sitting there with a hoodie over my head and reading a book. I don’t know how long I was reading for that I did not notice there were people present in front of me until I heard growls. I looked to see that it was Marissa and her two of her goons, Jeffrey, and Dallas, who are warriors. They stood there giving me an evil smirk, then I looked over to Marissa as she had a disgusted look on her face.

All I ever wanted is peace, nobody will bother me. I will stay in the shadows of everyone. Because in their world I’m an outcaste, abomination, that doesn’t deserve to live. I always feel the hate that the pack has towards me, I would like to say that I’m not hurt by their words. But I would only say to myself, their words are like a knife stabbing deep in my heart. I accepted no one will wanted to be around me, why do they mess with me? I stay to myself, and never get in the way. Why can they just leave me alone?

“What do you want, Marissa?”

“What I want is for you to disappear and never come back. You are a waste of space mutt. I don’t even know why the Alpha is keeping a pathetic person like you around”

“Maybe because of my intelligence, something you lack”

“What did you say, bitch?”

“Look Marissa, I don’t want any trouble. I just want to be left alone, so please leave me be,”

“Guys, she wants me to leave her alone. What you think about that? “Marissa asks turning to them”

“I think not. It’s a shame that your parents were demoted and now regular warriors. I know they are mad because you caused it,” Dallas stated.

“Hey, it’s no point of tell her something she already know, the moon goddess really fucks up by creating you,” Jeffrey says.

With each insult they were giving me, I could feel Xyla trying to come forward, but I stop, by talking her down, as they threw more insults at me. I gather all my things, got up from my chair, I attempt to walk off, they circle me. Marissa got in my face, looking me up and down, then out of nowhere, she slaps me in the face. My head was turn to the side from the impact. I place my hand on my face, rubbing it I could feel it stinging.

Xyla was fighting her way to come forward again. I’m trying my best to hold her down. I must get away before all hell breaks loose. I try to walk past them til I feel a hand grab my arm. I turn to see it was Marissa. I snatch my arm away, try to walk off again, Dallas blocks my way, I try to get pass him, he pushes me back so hard that I landed on the floor. Now a crowd in the cafeteria had formed, surrounding us. I was tired of all the bullshit, that I’m seeing read. I got up from the floor and walk right up to Dallas.

“This is your only warning “MOVE” I shouts.

“What you going to do?”

“You want to find out?”

“I ‘m not scare of a weakling like you”

“Ok, don’t say I did not warn you”

“Xyla”

“Yes”

“Come forward,”

“With Pleasure,”

Without another word Xyla, came forward, I stood back and watch how Xyla grab Dallas by the throat with one hand and ball her fist with the other, she punches Dallas in the face repeatedly, when done his face was so blooded and deform you could not recognize him. She saw he was unconscious and threw him across of the room. Shocking everyone on the scene, including Jeffrey, he quick straightens his face and then he lung at me. I step to the side as he lands on the floor. He turns to his side. Before he could get up, I kick him in the stomach so hard that he was coughing up blood.

I could feel him moan in pain; I did not stop there. I grab one of his legs twisted it, that you could hear it crack. He let out a scream. I was satisfying I looked over to see Marissa was shaking in fear. I immediately was in front of her legs was shaking to where they were about to give out.

“You not so tough after all bitch, now let me show you what it’s like to be bully” from there Xyla punch her in the face. I could see blood coming out of Marissa nose. “You broke my nose you bitch”

“Come at me again, you will get more than a broken nose”

Marissa face turned red with anger. I saw her eyes turn black, showing me her fangs. Her Lycan came forward. Xyla would not back down. When Marissa charge at me, I dodge it and ball up my fist and punch her straight in the stomach. She fell face down. I kneel and grab her hair pull it to lift her head up and I tells her “This is a warning, the next time you and your goons mess with me again I will not go easy on you, am I clear?” she nodded immediately I let go of her hair. I got up, went to my table, and grab my things and head out of the cafeteria.

The rest of the day went by fast. Everyone kept their distance from me. I did not care. I was walking into my house when I see my parents standing a few feet from me, waiting. I could see the look on their faces. I know they must have found out what happen today. I took a deep breath stood there waiting for someone to speak. When no one says anything, I spoke “What wrong?”

“The King had summoned us to the castle, we were inform that something happen in school with you and some children what happen Mileena?” My father asks.

“I took care of some bullies at school. They kept picking on me until I reach my breaking point, so I fought back”

“Why did you not tell us?” my mother asks.

“Because I did not want to trouble you more, then I already had. It’s bad enough that you two got struck with a cursed child, then they took your position from you because of me”

“We don’t give a fuck about that position; you are our child. That is just a title that we will give up, just to protect you and keep you safe. You are not curse you are a miracle. I never want to hear you say that again. Understood?” my mother, says giving me a crazy look. I nodded.

“Now since that is settle we need to go to the castle to face the King and Queen now and see what we up against,” my father stated.

“Ok let get this over with,” I replies. From there we left out, heading to the pack house.
