I checked my wrist watch as I rested against my car.
Any moment now.
The school bell finally rang. The chime echoed through the air which signaled the end of another school day. Children flooded out of the building in a rush of backpacks and laughter.
I shifted against my car. My gaze was fixed on the school gate. It was the same routine I had grown used to over the past few weeks but today, there was a flutter of anticipation in my chest.
