All over again, the same thing was happening to me. I stared down at her for as long as I could and it was like time itself had stopped. I could hear the sound of my heart beating loud without an ounce of control. I felt dazed just like I had felt at her welcome party. How the fact that she had been so close to me after pulling her to my chest had done wondrous things to my soul. She was the most beautiful creature I'd ever laid my eyes on.
