"WHEN is your surgery, Mom?" Allie asked her mommy. There is no school today so she is here in the hospital all day and watching over her. The tumor in her mommy's brain had to be removed. Chemotherapy alone is not enough.

"It's on Wednesday, Allie."

“I'm not going to school, Mom. I want to be with you. ”

Smiling, she grasped herpalm. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Allie."

"Stop acting like you're other people, `Ma," she joked to hide the tears in her eyes.

Though smiling, she could see the tears streaming down her mommy’s cheeks. She knew how hard it was for her to go through it now. Sometimes, she thinks she just because of her that she resists.

Maybe it doesn’t know but he sees the despair in its eyes when it thinks he’s not looking at it.

"How are you and Enzo?"

She was left speechless when she remembered the man. “It’s still the same, Mom. Ewan ko ba do'n. He never used to be such a super robot when he acted. ”

An understanding smile was on her mother's lips as she gently squeezed her hand. “Just be patient with Enzo. Maybe that person is just going through something. ”

She puffed her cheeks. “One day, Mom. One day, I'll make him smile again. I'll do everything to bring back the old Enzo. ”

“Yes, do that. Make him happy. I suddenly remember your promise before. ”

His forehead frowned. "What promise?"

"That you'll marry Enzo," he said with a teasing smile. "When will that come true?"

Allie felt the warmth of her cheeks. Just a little bit of smoke came out of his ears.

“Mom! I was still young! ”

The door of the room opened exactly. That threw Tita Lily and Tito Miguel followed by Enzo.

“Allie! Just now we met again. How are you? Why, you seem to be losing weight? ” Aunt Lily greeted him. He approached her and hugged her.

"I'm fine, Tita."

Aunt Lily is already focusing on her mommy. He in turn turned to the silent Enzo. Kunot-noon was looking at him.

"Why?"

"Have you eaten?"

He nodded appropriately when his mommy answered first. “I haven't eaten yet, Enzo. Why don't you go eat with Allie. Earlier I told you to eat, don't listen to me. ”

“But—” Allie's resistance was cut short when she felt Enzo's warm palm on her arm.

He pushed her upright and then led her out of the room. The two of them walked silently. Enzo remained holding her arm.

Allie smiled secretly as she looked at his hand.

He thought that Enzo and he would go straight to the hospital canteen. He wondered why instead of going to the canteen, they left the hospital.

"Where will we go?"

"There's fast food near here."

When he arrived at the fast food restaurant, Enzo went straight to the counter while he was looking for a seat. He found a couple near the window. Because the queue was long, a few minutes passed before Enzo returned. It carries their food.

When she smelled the fried chicken, Allie felt hungry. By the way, his last meal was breakfast, eh, it's two o'clock.

"You're not going to eat?" he asked the man.

It spit out fries. He frowned. Really. What did he have to do for Enzo to speak? To make it smile? When they were small, it wasn't this hard. What happened to him to be this… cold?

He has already started eating. In between meals he tells Enzo about the events at SLU. The man didn't move but his gaze was focused on her.

“But Killian is scary. When he's around, it's like I want to run away. ”

"Tell me if he does something to you," Enzo said coldly.

Her smile widened. "Hey, concern."

It looked at him badly.

Since the food was gone, he left the fries. None of his own formed an ‘angry face’ using fries.

"It looks like you, Renz," he said. Next to 'angry face fries' he also made 'happy face fries.' "Next time, I want you like this, huh?"

Suddenly Enzo picked up the smiling fries and ate them. It raised an eyebrow at him as he chewed. This is what consumed the two ‘faces’ he made.

Allie sipped a softdrink while the attention was on the outside. His mind was not there. Actually, he thinks nothing. He was just staring blankly outside.

He felt something sting his forehead so he turned to Enzo.

"Why?"

It pointed to the table. Using the remaining fries will form this word.

"Little," he read weakly.

She slowly smiled. Enzo used to call him "Little" because of his height. He is really small compared to men or others his age. But somehow, when he stopped spending time with her, he also stopped calling her “Little.”

Allie beamed at Enzo as he tried to focus at everything aside from her.

"I missed you, Renz," he said weakly.

He heard no response from Enzo. Allie was just blown away by the wind and was about to look back out the window when something warm landed on her palm.

He glared at Enzo. It wasn't looking at him. But based on its grip on his hand, he already knew what it wanted to convey.

He was still a man of few words.

"Oh, I know you missed me, too," he said with a smile.

"Shut up, Alianna Mari," he said.

“Cyborg is really shy type, oh. My name is already formed, eh. ”

He just laughed when Enzo moaned at him.
