"Hey Lorrie"

"Wassup Traitor, you didn't even dim it fit to check on your heartbeat?" Or have you decided to die? Lorrie accused her on and on and all she could do is just smile, she has never been able to keep up with Lorrie. Her cheerful voice was exhilarating and Emma was glad she called when she did.

Lorrie paused a beat when she noticed Emma has not replied any of her rants, " babe, are you there?"

Emma who has been lost in thought replied jokingly "Yes, I'm just thinking how I'll continue to live should I forget you?"

There was sounds of rich laughter from the other end and Emma felt relieved that she had not been caught steering off.

"See you at the dinner date, say 7pm"

Dinner date? What dinner date she thought to herself? But Lorrie continued "Let's pick that steak's place we saw the last time, We haven't really tried it out you know, and it's mostly because you're never chanced due to your job"

She instantly felt guilty and reluctantly agreed , even though she didn't remember any date and the last thing she wanted was to dress up and go anywhere, she just wanted to sleep in all day.

Just before Lorrie hung up, she heard her say " Babe's just so you know, I'm coming with my new guy and he's hot, like super hot and I can't wait for you to meet him"

Emma's mouth was still open minutes after Lorrie hung up, what! Lorrie has got to be kidding? For real? It isn't even funny, a new guy???

When was it she introduced a guy to her? It's not even up to 3months for God's sake! She could never keep up with the amount of guys Lorrie keeps. She wished she had brought up Williams in the conversation at least Lorrie would offer her one of her crazy ideas, she made a point to bring it up at dinner.

Lorrie Ryan was her best friend and the only friend she has, they have been friends since high school and has always had each other's back, they attended the same college but while Emma majored in Law, Lorrie preferred to study Hotel management and she was doing well in the career, she even managed to get herself a job one of the most popular Hotel in the County with it generous pay. Lorrie's Personality is wild as opposed to Emma's gentle but firm personality.

Lorrie was the type of girl who anyone would not dare to mess with, she grew up in a big city with affluent parents, having all the luxuries of life at her beck and call but decided to pursue wealth on her own away from the family's comfort, something Emma always admired her for, Emma personally thought Lorrie was a brave lady. Lorrie's love life was the only comma in her life, she changed men like she did attire's.

She cared for men not less than she cared for a used cloth, she usually had a new man on her arm each time, she is a beautiful tall, blonde who had flesh in the right places and she never failed to snag men attention everywhere she went.
